Ep82gi
Stupid question buddy but could you post a picture of the inside of your fuses box please (the one in the bay) because I have a blown fuse n I'm trying to work something out n it seams to be slightly different to the turbo. Thanks Liam

theminiguru
More progress on the car. Painted the manifold heat shield as i didn't like the look of it.The washer/expansion tank was looking grubby so i put them in the dishwasher and the outcome was amazing. Look like new I purchased some yellow tint film for the fog lamps. Jdm look After fitting the new alternator i found that the battery didn't hold charge and the car cut out once load was applied so a new one was purchased. After a while waiting for the paint to cure i finally managed to get to flat and polish the bumpers and side trims. I'm very happy with the outcome. The pictures don't give them justice. I made a start on the wing mirrors and head light surrounds as the paint is worn. I will post up images once there complete Edited July 25, 2015 by theminiguru

theminiguru
Fitted one of my optional mk1 recuemans yesterday. Another option added to the car I found my glanza oem strut brace which has been sat around for years so i sanded and polished it up. Came out ok.I did this a couple of weeks ago but forgot i had done it. The sills on the car were chipped and scuffed where people have got in and out of the car over the years. I flatted them back and gave them a light spray. You would never know The headlight covers and indicators are now finished after flatting and polishing.Really happy with the outcome. My gts the same colour and needs some tlcI had some paint mixed up at my local motor factors. I removed the fuel cap cover as a swatch. They scan it in 3 different places and find the closest match. It's 199 silver.
theminiguru
The retaining bolts for the headlights looked a little sorry for themselves so gave them light spray.
