Facelift JDM Supra Twin turbo, rare blue pearl! Price reduced

Recommended Posts

Make: Toyota

Model: Supra Facelift VVTI Twin Turbo Auto Tiptronic

Year: 99

Facelift: Yes

Mileage: just over 100k

Tax remaining: na now

MOT remaining: full 12 months

Service history:

There is plenty of old MOT's, service stamps, and various receipts.

Car's location: Cumbria

Modifications: A kakimoto cat back, HKS panel filter, Blitz boost gauge

Good bits:
This is my mums car she has owned it for around 5 years now, and before this she owned a facelift na and also 2 mk3's. I sourced it for her when she decided she wanted a TT.
It has been extremely reliable in the time she has owned it. nothing has let it down. Its had a few sets of discs and pads and tires and i changed the rear arb a bit back. The big service i have mentioned below.

She is having to sell it due to my step dads hip replacement he can no longer get in or out of it! :(
She has had to buy a more sensible Audi and isnt using the Supra much now.

The car has not been messed about with or had daft parts fitted in the past. It is a near stock genuine car which hasnt had a hard life.
The car is stock apart from the cat back, panel filter, boost gauge and the axis wheels.

The car has the active front spoiler
Traction control
Tiptronic option
All the facelift updates which they received
air con still fitted.

I replaced the aerial cord a few months ago and greased all the drive gear as it broke, so its now full working

Last year the car went to a friend of hers who has a garage who specialises in more specialist cars, he had the car for a few weeks and went through the whole car top to bottom and completed alot of work on it. This included all fluids for the whole car, all filters, plugs, cam belt, water pump, arb links on the front, all brakes stripped down and alot more. There is a list of all the work.

Bad bits:

The car does have lights scratches in places and the odd stone chip
The wheels have been kurbed on the rims and could do with sorting out. i was trying to get this sorted but the guy is too busy.
Mum bought the wrong size plate for the front so it has a uk front plate not the jdm size.
The lcd panel failed on the double din radio so you cant see the screen any more, the radio does still work though. Also in the past someone has cut the surround a little around the radio.

anyone interested in the car will be best contacting me about the car as i know more about it than my mum but for anyone serious i can happily pass on her details also.

Pics below, they are not the best as the sun was going down and the camera seems to have corrupted the top on one of them.

The car will be missed if it sells! I am tempted to keep it for myself but i have been rebuilding a GT4.

Sorry I don't understand what you say by "breaking thread"* but I guess it means NO ;-)

(*) when I translate it in french, it's says it means "wire to cut"... lol

But anyway I'm not sure I understood your tone very well but my post was not an insult at all ! It was just a question.

cheers,
