Flynn
After a lot of deliberation I've decided to put my TTE optional splitter up for sale as I'm not going to run it and I think it deserves to be on a minty SR my problem is setting a price for it as I've never seen one up for sale. I know they're super rare but I don't want to cop a load of shit off members for putting it up for too much and seeming greedy but in the same bounce I've got parts to buy and would obviously like a fair price! It's in absolutely mint condition, black (will add photos later)I've had a bit of interest and if I'm honest there is a certain low miles SR I'd like to see this go on but what are people's opinions on what it's worth? Was offered £300 for it not long ago and I should have taken it but at the time I was wanting to keep the car standard! Idrees
£300 is a crazy offer, you should have snapped his hand off. I sold one for around £170 and it took a good few weeks to sell. I had it advertised at £200 iirc.
Flynn
How long back was that Idrees?
daniel_g
First thing id be doing is PM'ing the person that made you the 300 quid offer for it lol.

Flynn
Think I'll stick it up for best offer (does that break any rules?) I know if I stick too much on it I'll get shit for it but you see crappy coin holders go for £50 and gay air purifiers for over £200 lol

Flynn
Ok Matt cheers for that Sounds like a plan daniel_d ;)
Idrees
I sold mine in 2013. I agree with Dan, advertise is at £300 and take it from there.
rob_bower
I doubt there are many left that would pay big money for one. I once tried to buy one for £150 but the seller pulled out on me last minute.
Hou
Put it at 300 and watch lowballing douches offer you 200 thinking they are getting an epic deal!
Dale SR
I love SRs slightly obsesed haha and in my opinion I would say top price would be £200 that would work out double the value of a rep splitter which is good money.Auction it on ebay some things sell for crazy money on there. Flynn
The reps are dog shit (sorry Idrees) absolutely no comparison in quality, bought one before getting the OG one on the 4age SR.
Flynn
^^thats a harsh comment in retrospect.......they're not all that bad, but don't stand up to the original
Idrees
The originals are flimsy and the replicas are too, it's due to the design of the lip. If they curved in at the bottom side (like a splitter) they'd be much better. Anyway they look spot on when fitted and fit very well indeed. I'll dig some pictures out if anyone wants to have a look. Flynn
They do look the part when fitted.
