As above, not sure if it something bad or it just needs a small service but my cars been a bit sluggish and wondering if there's really anything I can quickly do to maybe get it back to its former glory or just get it serviced and go from there

Check its boosting properly.

if they are ok a full service.

overhaul the ignition system.

As much as i'd love to own a turbo i only have an N/A atm :/ Don't know if you've got any tips on the 4EFE?

116k isnt that much on a jap car, especially an n/a jap car.

if its been maintained well it should be 5/10 psi of what psi it had originally.

as above refresh ignition and do a comp test.

Gonna get it serviced at the end of the week see if that makes a difference, if it dosen't, New HT Leads, Spark Plugs, dizzy and a comp test would probably be best?

Comp check will just tell you if its worn out. Id expect around 160-180psi on a good n/a 4efe at a guess? (Someone confirm)

Post your results up and someone will let you know how they fair.

If youve done the dizzy and leads dont worry about them.

Plugs, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, check timing.

I think theres a procedure for the timing that involves bridging te1 and e1 in the little black diagnostics port then starting the car and checking the timing.
