Got some vids in a tunnel too, will upload them at somepoint.

Such a smart and tidy car looks perfect just the way it is well done mate

Cheers dude! Only cosmetics in the near future will be wheels

This looks sweet bud :)
I think it would suit a bigger spoiler and maybe a mid spoiler but that's just me :)

Yeah will be getting a livesports rep in the future! I dont like mid spoilers so i wont be getting one of them aha

I like this! Very tidy and the ride height looks spot on
When you rolled the arches what did you do with the plastic trims? Just trim them back flush I take it

Cheers mate, dont plan on going any lower either!

Yeah i just cut the inside off and tigersealed them back on

Looks tidy pal!

Cheers bro!

And while I was under the dash I got the alarm working finally

This just looks so clean! I loved the ep91 you had mainly as it was rather different from the usual! But this is spot on :D

Yeah I drive this too fast for it to be like the n/a

Turbo timer fitted properly

00E8ECB8-E1B3-4375-A16A-1880209D71C3_zps

Alarms been playing up since plugging it in, kept not unlocking no sounds then wouldn't lock, found a load of these

0662339C-9234-4B77-B2CF-DFD3B96C469D_zps

Really badly soldered wires that have all broken apart, wiring for the alarm is such a mess, like 20 feet of unnecessary wiring stuffed under the dash!

Even had the misses helping out...

So now they're both sorted, it's time for the boring stuff, started collecting the bits for a good service, albeit I have bought some dress up bits for the engine bay.

Looks sick where it is mate!

Jack

Yeah it was alright but it was held up with a cable toe around the cowling, it had to be moved!

Seeing yours on the white gt3s has made me want a set!

I really wish I had a full set of them as they do look real nice on it, I will be buying new wheels after I've done the service and got a new manifold, but they won't be Rotas!

Gave it a good clean and a quick wax yesterday, also me and a mate made a bracket for the rear plate so now it sits tilted and isn't just a rattling around in the bumper with a bit of double sided tape on it aha!

My service pile is getting there, this is 90 quids worth aha! Still need dizzy cap and rotor arm, leads and gearbox oil, but they'll happen at a later date

B1E8C44D-5177-4C4A-86AF-09092825AA1E_zps

That's oil, Toyota oil filter, fuel filter, thermostat and iridium plugs

So I got the service done Friday/Saturday, oil and filter went lovely, plugs turned in to a pain when the ht leads fell apart, but I found the cause of the random smoking

DE594450-150C-4F49-84A8-663C35EB376B_zps

Managed to bodge the ht lead back together, ordered some magnecores, and I'll be ordering the gasket set for rocker cover, and the stud to replace the snapped one in the picture above.

And I'll be needing a whole new line to the fuel filter, because whoever last changed it rounded the fuck out of it!

Still need to do the thermostat when I get round to it

Love this thing me!

Cheers man! I'm just looking forward to have sorted the issues so I can buy nice things again aha Edited by dan106

Its depressing how skint i am currently, hopefully some big updates after christmas.

Well finished work early today so I painted my strut brace while i did a few bits off my misses' saxo, and sharpied the '16 valve efi' bit so it actually looks like it says that again aha

266E9658-E8AD-407E-9930-E405112833F0_zps

9928D959-08F6-480C-991D-2B2422C03996_zps

Which is fine because i won these on ebay for £25!

AED0599E-93C0-48FF-B821-D951F15665B1_zps

Couldnt help colouring in the writing while i was waiting for paint to dry.

Now ive got a full set of wheels spare ill be taking the slips off and giving them a real anal clean, at somepoint, maybe.

Also, what tyres out of s drives proxes and maxxis maz (i cant remember what they are) are best in the winter months?

And while I had the day off work on friday i relocated my air filter, although ordered the wrong hose so i couldnt fit my blitz one, had to swallow my pride and buy a hafords one for now ahaha

918F828A-96CC-4BA5-982A-733AAE220DBD_zps

Looks better in the bay without all the pipes!

ECFDFF41-D192-4F9B-9B33-D345A6D9A60D_zps

Also took the headlight tint off

AA362FB2-143D-485D-8B74-5ECBF8B8EFA6_zps

So I've took the slips off to sell, so I've put the gt3s and the steels on

Didn't think they'd look this bad

8A6613F7-CD06-4DE2-A69F-9C966C2AFBE4_zps

So I whipped em off this morning to quickly paint them black

And that didn't go so well aha

5AFFD40E-C2DE-47D2-904E-4ACC8E1EBA6C_zps

B39FEB2E-E6D3-4D48-916F-9FC9157B24CC_zps

Almost the whole wheel reacted, so I chucked em back on and jet washed what I could off, might have another go tomorrow, or just slap hammerite on them aha

Ordered something shiny for it, will update when it arrives

double check the new brake lines are not rubbing on anything dude.

Do your coilovers have a bracket for the brake line holder to go on? Like oem?

Nice updates, are the new wheels a secret?

Na they're not dude, na these are isc Coilovers, no bracket, I've spoke to tein in mk about refurbing my front Coilovers, waiting for them to email back

Not a secret as such, but I don't wana post them in case someone else buys them before me aha, that and what I ordered wasn't wheels ;)

All the money you spend on cheap wheels could go into a pot for one complete set of wheels haha

James

Aha dont you worry my moneys been spent elsewhere recently ;)

But actual nice wheels are soon on my list of things to buy, and i do have some in mind
