starletno1fan
right guys need some opinions here! my front 2 tyres are bald, even the cords are appearing! So i need some new tyres.I want some decent tyres but not too expensive ofcourse while still containin the grip i want and ofcourse i dont want soft rubber so it wont wear so quickly.I hav currently got some toyo t1-r proxes and these handled like a slag but they wear too quickly as i hav already been told.Atm im lookin at some yokohama A539 which are £41.27 each inc p&p, this i can live with but just wonderin how they live etc?Other tyres and suggestions welcomed!Eric xby the way this is for a non turbo 4efe starlet, so i wont need anything too silly! gaz
i have 2 in my garage for sale. off a lotus elise, never used. £50 local pickup i think they are pirellis 15"
lobotomy
Cheaper nankangs are like driving on coal, but I've heard good things about the NS-2's, meant to have pretty good grip and are a reasonably hard compound so will last a while.
Robbo
I use Dunlop SP9000 sport on my fronts, they are awesome, and make the old pirelli p-zero's seem shoddy.
starletno1fan
Cheers guys, just ordered myself 2 x Falken ZE 512 195/45 R15 V @ £40.88. and £91.16 in total inc p&p.Mate told me these were quite good as did www.blackcircles.co.ukEric x
shelly_star
What about eagle F1s? expensive right. i was going to go for the toyo's next, not a good thing then?
starletno1fan
Eagle f1's are £50 each for me inc p&p. Toyo's handle good, but if you drive like a maniac n throw it round every corner.. then it'll burn out in no time. Other than that i like em.Eric

Robbo
F1's are good shelly, I looked at a tyre reviewing website, and they got slightly better grip then my dunlops in the dry, but slightly less in the wet, as we're in a pretty wet country I went for the dunlops ;)
