Calum122 Posted June 5, 2015 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Lol Colin, I hear it's pretty common practice really. It's just not economical to take the head off all the time. Especially when you're busy. Worse case scenario, you drop the valve and you have to take the head off, which you needed to do anyway. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Either use compressored air down the bores or string and rotate the engine to top dead center to compress. Then change as you would with the head off.
