mart1
noticed this on eBay... trader selling it Toyota starlet glanza v & it is a fresh import, how can they make any money? When it costs a fortune to import these days, then you get traders selling them for £5000 to £5500. I have looked into importing a starlet & with all the costs you need about £3500 £4000.http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=321791153344&alt=web Edited June 25, 2015 by mart1
morgey
Must have been dirt cheap. Its what 900 min for shipping? So 500/600 for the car is 1500 plus 30% fees another 450 is the 1950. Plus a bit of cost for getting it on uk roads. Would leave him a few 100 profit lol

mart1
Yeah you cannot expect much with it going that cheap at a dealers. They got a nice 1991 TOYOTA COROLLA GT-i 16 TWIN CAM in white there for sale, that looks smart.
FrozenJakalope
Even so, worst case is the engines shit and you buy a new one for £400-500 and you've instantly added that straight onto the value.
Ollieh17
Most import companies make an absolute fortune on people buying. The cars are dirt cheap and the shipping isnt as much as you think. The mark up is what makes it seem expensive
_shaun_
Agreed I was quoted £4500 to buy and import a car I had seen in Japan by a company in the uk. I done it myself and total cost was £2000
