Cheers bud. Messages the seller and he said it comes with an 8psi spring and is genuine. Fellas, does this one look real or fake? How can i tell?

Anything that makes your car run as it should, shouldn't be gambled with in my eyes, I buy lots of second hand parts but if I'm unsure, I won't buy it :-)

Points taken on board chaps. I'll hang fire until a used one crops up, or see how my funds are at the end of the month to get a new one from TD. Would lapping the one I have now make any difference?

Had the same problem as Ollieh17 just received a genuine turbosmart from Aus with pec Australia for under £190 delivered, Brendan from pec kept in contact every step of the way. After going through all the hassle with fakes my advice would be do your research and if it seams to good to be true then it probably is.

Where did you get the fake one from ollie? James, why did you get one from australia for 190 if td sell them for 199?

Was kind of second hand but jdm ep. I looked elsewhere before and asked turbosmart to verify the seller, they are happy to do that. Just trusted the second hand one

Buy new indeed but dont rule out turbosmart, alot of tests they come out well above tial for leakage etc. some information on it over driftworks
