Well thought i better start a build thread since some big plans have come along for my glanza v. I bought her just over a year ago and well a bit of work was needed, however it was a clean shell, here she is.

So the car was in need of a new turbo so i treated her to a speedvision phase 2 ct9 hybrid, with a clean up along the way,

So I invested in a zisco ramhorn manifold and heatwrapped it,

I came across a photo from her on the dyno getting a reasonable 208bhp at 1.3 bar on the hybrid ct9

The car was running perfect up until January 2015, when i got a knock sensor fault so replaced that with a new one from td all was fine until i drove about 100m to the end of my street and it conked out, started again and sparked out the interior fuse box and conked out once again and she hasn't run since. I tried numerous things including a new ecu and engine bay wiring loom but nothing worked. So I decided i wanted to strip the glanza apart clean everything up and buy lots of new goodies whilst tidying everything up, so i bought a fiesta st as a daily for now.

Started by taking off all the calipers, wishbones, suspension and a few things out of the engine bay to get the engine out easier.

It ended up like this,

So i de-greased all the wing area in the bay and started sanding it down ready for a coat of primer, used gunk to de-grease and i would recommend 100%

Just redoing it in gloss black to make it look a bit cleaner when its all back together.

Ive seen some people re-locate the braking unit in the engine bay, but where do they put it? cheers

was the previous owner that had it mapped at 1.3 bar on high boost and im pretty sure it went bang on the dyno first time round then mapped again at 1.3 all fine but i never ran it at 1.3 always boosted at 0.7 bar. still standard internals but hopefully be changing that over winter or next year. Still need to keep updating this still not up to date yet, cheers mate :)

Waiting on a prototype of a cam pulley from TD too, hopefully get one in gold.

Also im looking for a clear timing belt cover so let me know if you're selling one! :)

Managed to get a hold of a clear timing case from JD Tuning along with some bonnet struts. just waiting on a cam pulley from tuning developments and its all ready to go on and get the engine back in the car :) also gave the wiring loom a tidy by redoing it in a nice felt tape, delighted with the result!

Rear calipers are an absolute pain to rebuild haha.

- Engine is back in the car sitting nicely on JD tuning poly bush engine mounts

- All timed up with an adjustable cam gear and clear timing case

- New 8.5 red ht leads, spark plugs, new dizzy and rotor

- Fitted an abs removal kit as big brakes are definitely on the list

- Got myself a full red silicone hose kit that will be fitted

- Braided clutch line fitted

- Monster triple core half rad with slimline fan

- New water pump

- All the wiring has be re wrapped and tidied up

- Began fitting a gold dress up kit

- New power steering and alternator belt

How the engine bay is looking just now with jd bonnet lifters fitted too :)
