paddy Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I need to fit a new rear engine mount, is the rear one the one I need to press out? I've done them before but many years ago, gone for the JD tuning ones, hope there not as bad as power flex Quote
JayJ Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 You should press all of them, shouldn't you? Or burn or cut or hammer the hell out Quote
5e colin Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 flat head screwdriver and hammer is easier to tap them out its harder pressing them because u need a perfect size to press them out the wals are very very thin !!!! Quote
Calum122 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Colin's flat head worked a trick, the hardest part for me was getting the bastard all back together. Just tired I guess. Quote
JDMfreak Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Get a junior hacksaw put blade through mount cut the steel band around bush get a good chisel and near the edge where you cut try tap the corners up so the bush becomes loose and tap the center bushes should fall out Quote
