5T4R7ET N/A
Just a small update,Decided to tiger seal the the engine mounts. Dont want vibrations just a little support should be enoughIf anyone who wants to do this, you can only do half the mounts then do the other side Edited July 18, 2017 by 5T4R7ET N/A

5T4R7ET N/A
Also curious about how you did the bumper as I want to do mine soon...I used stainless steel fence cable snd stripped the plastic off. If i was to do it again i would plasti weld it together like another member *pete*.Making the cut of the bumpers is the hardest bit. i tried the used smallest part of the uk spec bumper.Progress is slowed down again but will start again soon. Thanks guys/girls

5T4R7ET N/A
Nice weather again today so caught up on a few bits and bobsModified the catch can so i can see when its full and put the AN10 fittings on. Pretty tight fitI also had to modify my rear axle bushes. I cut the steel cups that hold the bush. when i first put them in I thought this right because they didnt fit otherwise. So decided to do it properly. Some polybush grindingThen put them in a 55mm outer diameter mild steel pipe. Needs to be about 37mm wide.I will be welding it later to the beam legs.Thats all for today, hopefully more regular updates Edited July 18, 2017 by 5T4R7ET N/A

Didnt want to do this but previous owner painted it black and i couldnt be bothered stripping all the paint off which would have been hard work.Come out ok.Hopefully more to come soon. Gotta get this thing on and start putting the car back together Edited July 18, 2017 by 5T4R7ET N/A

Muzza784
Love this mate! How did you do your bumper?
5T4R7ET N/A
Love this mate! How did you do your bumper? There are a couple of ways you can do it. My way is probably longer. You can see where i made the cut in the pictures, i used as little of the uk spec bumper as possibleThen i made some holes using a drill 3mm should be big enough. Use a dremel to make a groove so the holes link up.Then i got some gardening fence cable. Its stainless steel, strip the plastic off and tie the two bumper pieces together. Push the cable down into the groove you created with the dremel earlierThen to add strength i fibre glassed the back of the bumper joint and filled the places put the ties. The shorter and better route would be to get a plastic welder and join together using that. Even though i have not done this im pretty sure it would be easier
