Gainzy
I doubt that's genuine I've had a non brander before of a lads gt4 just plain black
lukEp
But its built into the harness. If it's a none branded why go to such quality in the build. I've Googled it and no info on it at all.
daniel_g
Is that not just wired into a loom extender?Someone must have actually cared about their loom! Every one ive came across has been butchered!
lukEp
No its not soldered in it's part of the harness the harness is 100% part of the FCD. The sticker has air bubbles behind it. I've opened it up as it has 4 screws on the back. The 8 pin chip has had all the details sanded off it so it's unidentifiable as most Jap tuners do and has CEP-27and 00251-02007 on the PCB there is a variable resistor in it for adjustment but is glued in position so you can't adjust it. lukEp
Found this on TGTT. http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?41233-EP82-FCD-with-ext-harnessLooks like it could be real and apparently in the Hyper Rev's book?
Gainzy
I dived into hyper rev couldn't see a fcd there but you can see they use the hks f con and I found this pic... not to say they never made one though! That plastic type material look exactly the same as what was on the blitz sld I had. You can buy tidy universal harness's from Japan and Nengun. Edited October 5, 2015 by Gainzy
