Ruddi444
I'm looking for abit more power out of my glanza v, but still want it to be safe away from fuel cut, 1996 clanza v just short of 100,000 miles runs lovely and has only been modified by me, blitz bov, hks induction, also got a greddy boost gauge to go on! Been looking at getting hks acuator but unsure how I would set it as wouldn't want it over boosting, along with a fuel pressure regulator? With an exhaust slowly following, what you guys think? Any help would be great
Matt1878
If you have a look in the wiki section you will find a tuning guide for the 4EFTE engine that covers the stock turbo and beyond that..Matt
Bussey
Just buy a boost controller and run 3 bar.
StuDoc 72
Just buy a plug and play ecu. Best mod you can buy if you have a standard starlet. Excellent bang for buck and they are "safe" you wont hit fuel cut and they will most likely run just a bit rich. Then once you have outgrown it sell it on and get piggyback. Anything within boost cut wont really give you any more power just better delivery or more consistant power through the range.
turbominicooper
3 bar lol
Ruddi444
Thanks Matt and stu anyways!
GP82
If you have not done so then start with the hi/lo boost bypass! You got good bolt on mods, i would suggest a front mount cooler then tweak that hks actuator and it will be quick.
