Ok so i have a wee mk4 golf as a spare time fixer upper lol (dont hate me i have had it for ages) but i have a big problem, the wee cars nearly ready to be sold, ready for the mot and all that, BUT.... I cant find the Registration number anywhere, theres no tax disc on the window or mot disc as it was binned along with the cracked windscreen, and the tax book is long gone, i have searched all day trying to find a way to get my reg number so i can get a new book but its proving very difficult i cant find any info anywhere :/ anyone ever been in a similar situation lol? Could you give vw the chassis number and they could tell me? And before anyone asks, its not stole lol

1. Halfords is a pile of wank for bikes unless you want to be buying a kona off them, which are always overpriced like all their bikes. 2. In my experiance in dh, wood trails etc.. 200 wont get you a decent bike im afraid, even 300 nowadays isnt really a good budget :/ as said above, get on ebay, or gumtree is a good bet! some cracking deals on some that have been built. Its a costly thing to get into, when i was into it i built my bike for 8 or 900, and it wasnt even a minter lol.

Id say 150 is fare buddy, they do look oem but they are very very plain! Swap them out for a set of brides ;) and take a nosey to see what rails they are sitting on, could be worth twice as much as the seats!

16s can look to big, but i think it depends on how low you are! A black v on tgtt had 16' rota grids and it looked lethal! Big brakes to show off behind them too
