    Could be as IDrees said.. I wouldn't have thought a crank seal would fail that early unless installed wrong and even if it was you would know earlier. Hope you get it sorted mate.

I had a 85 mini and u come back from a hefty night out and saw someone had jumped up and down on the roof smashing the roof right in.. I understand if I deserved it but no.. At least you have covered her wounds mate, kinda patches up a little but if heartache..

    I can still see quite clearly the writing on the belt and see no cracks whatsoever so I may have saved myself a bit of money. How can a belt degrade even of its behind a plastic cover even if it hang done the miles in which it would be due? Cheers

    Checked the belt this morning, there's no cracks or anything like that on inner face of belt, big off a mark on outer face but that's it..

    I'm not saying the FCd damaged the car I haven't a clue how it happened It just did.. I don't rag it purvey because I can't afford fuel tbh. Just got home deter work and saw oil out f the top.. I put my FCd on about 3 weeks before.
