Yeah i agree with you guys on getting the map right as it is pretty crutial to the whole car and really considering a drive up north, but if my fuelling isnt right and it decides it wont start half way im stuck! who would be competent enough to look at my error code 31 issue? as far as i understand the map sensor wires, live, earth and the signal wire have to be all check and potentially re wired, but again i dont know who i can trust Thanks for all your "2ps" guys and Bristol glanza i may have to take you up on your offer Brendon

So I've been doing yet more reading about this and as far as I can understand I'm getting thiserror because of a fault in the wiring to the map sensor from the ecu, most people say it's earthing where shouldn't be, I have check the wires as far as I can trace and they seem ok. Is there a way I couldn't earth the map sensor not through the ecu (make my own earth wire to the chassis)? Or is this impossible? From what I have read other people having error code 31 are having the same symptoms as me, engine cutting out on start up and rough starts and all together not starting. Someone managed to s

I would prefer that! Just I don't know where I can take it locally, short of taking it back to tuning developments I don't know anywhere closer that could have a look at it for me! Brendon

Loads of people were rating the JAM ecu, Well ive been having a huge problem with my car for the last few months and i suspect its over fueling (but not certain) im becoming a desperate man! Its either the management or the fact i have error code 31 on the dash but no one seems to know anything about it! tbh i just want someone to fix it! Brendon

Just got myself another JAM ECU and was thinking about taking my emanage blue out and selling it on, is it easy to take out and how much do they go for these days? mine has probably only done about 300 miles lol and only a few months old, suppose i would have to sell it with the 3 bar map sensor and the harness that gets wired into the standard ECU, is there anything else im missing? Me and my bro made the journey down to Ben's straight after work lastnight, when we arrived he already had our bits waiting unfortunately for us he had so much there we ended up emptying our wallets to him! More than a top class service, we also walked away with some freebees! I'm surprised he found the time to get everything sorted for us as the car had just been broken and going on holiday today! Lol Have a good holiday mate and I'm sure I'll be back down very soon!! Brendon -
