Hi guys... Just brought track time @ japfest (castle coombe) but its for the advanced drivers.... now I'm told its ok as there are not as many clowns on track. Ive never been on track before in my own car, never mind in an advanced session... I understand the principle of overtaking and respecting other vehicles etc etc... and Im not afraid to treat my car like a slut in bends, but i understand the concept is totally different on track.... whats your thoughts???? whats your advice????

I have the same problem/sound...... could it be strut mounts? the rubber bush worn out? knocks when i pull of slowly, slightly not a huge knock.

I feel like shit.... Ive just brought a black V and So Toyosport manifolds are W***K, everybody warned me... but i was like ahh will be fine.... but no.. It sounds like i have just brought a 7 inch bore back box for a 1.1 litre cinquecento with possessed unicorn farts from a devils rectum. I mean chicks dig a V but not when it sounds like this haha! So pleas please please someone help me source a cheap td04 mani set up thats better than the two toyosport pieces of chocolate i have in my garage.... I have £600 to get a turbo, mani, full gasket set, gearbox and fitment. help a brother out for japfest (my birthday)

Have about £650 to spend 16inch wheels would like to run 15s though, Will be running around 270-280bhp Will be using for track and fast road use. What are my options guys? Thought about just EBC disks and pads but I feel they won't be enough! Don't want to be decelerating from 100 and feeling brake fade!

Having owning an SR and a normal starlet, I drive it regularly enough to feel how the car reacts...... SR.... Steering feels very positive compared to the normal starlet, still has lot of body roll but a lot less than it's lower models. You can feel every bump in the road, i drive my sr avoiding ridges and pot holes as they are rediculoysly bad! When turning sharp and accelerating it feels like the wheel wants to turn in more, giving you feedback to let off the throttle (under steer). The normal starlet feels like it's a spring retaining it asthough it wants to be straitened up. Solidia or any non sr starlet Feels....wank... Steering feels loose and when it does turn you have the body roll to follow, cornering hard.. Back end goes really light and a lot of lift off oversteer, feels in some what way unpredictable compared to the SR ( or that may be because I drove my SR more and trusted it) Again you have to consider tyres.... Starlets have stupidly thin things where the SRs have 195s not massively wide but make a lot of difference in traction and handling!
