It'll run ok off boost on any setting so long as you have a stock fpr. On boost your looking for high 11s or at least no prolonged flickers into the 12s. Phil
-
cant mind the boost threshold but im not sure you need the specific hks/denso map sensor to run it. to adjust the setting just unscrews the metal cover and you'll see a numbered screw. turn the screw to the desired setting. you must however use a wideband or borrow a wideband to check the fueling is correct. Phil

These are great bits of kit for the money. an fcd isnt dear and your set. no software needed for a remap either just 7 seperate settings on a board inside. Phil

miles better than a plug and play ecu if set well. now thats a big if, but its nowhere near as big as the gap between this and a 500quid shot in the dark. Phil

http://www.evocoupe.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2768 the innards sounds like the problem area. Zeldoz, its is a remote possibility that the casing was made in the same factory yes, but with testing and proof that the sounds are different the inside almost certainly arent. though if you read the link above you can read they even have the cheek to copy the patent code that walbro have for their pumps. that said if a chinese knock off works, fair enough Phil
-
I'd put money against that theory. Same way as fake walbros have the part numbers and even logos on them. If it was genuine walbro it would be sold as such. No chance walbro sell there stuff unbranded. That's not to say a Chinese knock off isn't a good job. Heck one Chinese knock of failing is hardly big news, genuine walbros will fail at some time also Phil

170hp grand job. good compression good fuel and running decent AFRs? nothing to worry about. certainly no HP you could easily find with ZEP ecu. Seems a healthy result to me. Phil

Come talk to me mate, if thats the clutch i sold ya. Phil

Depends really what you earn and what out goings you have. I've a new build house and 06 BMW daily driver and a forged gt. But I worked full time have never drunk or smoked and my wife works full time also and doesn't drink. Everyone's situation is different. Plus I'm 25+ Phil
-
ive ran 270 on stock injectors before but never on a bone stock 4efte. worth checking out for sure. Phil
-
Aye sorry dont be confused by me, i should have been clearer, im not saying that people cant get 230+ on stock injectors. just that the figures quoted above are unlikely to be on a stock motor, so i wouldnt use them as an ideal or safe guide. you've pretty much got it when you say, 94 onwards 3sge 370cc (prob 100quid ish) or some denso 460s.
