  6. I have a Greddy Profec b spec II forsale. I'll not going telling you how amazing it is but I'm sure some of the experienced heads on here can confirm it's one of the most popular/best jap boost controllers on the market. Reasonably priced for starlet owners (cheaper than eBay) Give me a shout if you want a link to the forsale thread. Phil
  7. hmm, my turbo is worse shape than that lol everyhting seems smooth and steady where it counts so i plan to use it ok, its wee bits like the exhaust housing bolts are almost rounded and ive a corner knock of the mani flange. i have another housing here but i dont want to steal it off a perfectly good turbo so ive got fancy washers made up for the flange with the corner knocked off lol Phil
  8. tempting me lol might get one of my vf8s rebuilt just to be sure its 100%. Phil

  10. AWESOME. lovely turbo kit, that engine bay wont look so sorry for itself anymore!!! Phil
  11. make the turbo a 2860 instead of the 25. go 0.5mm Paseo 0.5 MLS head gasket coupled with Wiesco 74.5mm low comp pistons. 460 should get you to 300 ok. stock inlet mani will suffice. Phil
  12. no no not calling you lucky mate, No, there is reason to believe it would help, (free up of the downstream of the waste-gate), i just dont see why it would help the wastegate flow alot. but to be clear you are not just saying 'it worked well for me' nor 'it was spot on' but rather you are happy to confirm that you suffered from boost creep and then upon fitment this vent to air screamer it solved the boost creep issue?? Phil
  13. super, i wont be over though ill be back in the middle of a big boost gt build myself lol cutting knuckles and swinging sledges. (or at least Chris will be) Phil
  14. you just need a whole heap of incar videos and flybys to insure we can all appreciate what a finished example goes like! i wish i had more footage of my own. Phil
  15. the limiting factor is still the wastegate Zeldoz, not convinced the lack of backpressure would make a significant difference, but if Lees experience is truthful and he had boost creep and the lack of wastegate back pressure removed it, then it will help to some extent. much like the duct tape on the airfilter i wouldnt be running out to buy a screamer pipe without a ex.gate for anyone! Phil
  16. hybrid? td04 with some injectors and a fpr? lots of options, best to read around before deciding what you fancy, personally id go td04 or bigger straight away for a road car. Phil
  17. do you have your wastegate ported as well as the screamer setup? Phil
  18. fantastic to hear someone talking about finishing a car off dream spec for most of us fella! you have pm. Phil
  19. its great fun though, enjoy it. Phil
  20. hmmm, sounds good. put you will undoubtedly have some headaches along the way but enjoy the journey. 260-80 on a td04 yes, no problem. Phil
