  3. Ive had cheap and expensive parts fall apart, i honestly doubt the difference sometimes. maybe im abit disillusioned with it all lol i would agree that if you have the money and you dont mind the more expensive parts will usually have a higher quality control in place. (though they may in essence be the same parts) Phil
  4. Looks good, still non interference out of cycle? Phil
  5. very nice, ive still a couple of RC10 B3s in the garage which would be a similar bit of kit only long long in the tooth! never had a schumacher 2wd buggy actually, closest schumacher was a old Cat 3000 4wd belt driven yoke (yester year also) stay off road its the most fun, then if you get mega competitive go 1/10 touring, starting out in 1/10 touring can be a bit of a put off as the top guys could be doing two laps to your one! (not that you could be one of the tops guys at your club i dont know you! just that the quick quick guys make it look easy whereas the offroad stuff seems t

    Opinions on Jobs

you go for the interview for practice, take it out of your annual leave ofcourse and it will be worth the experience. then if you get offered the post in the new place you go back to your manager or preferrable the ultimate boss, and say ive been offered a post elsewhere to progress my career, BUT i would be happy to stay if i can have a payrise and insurances regarding my future, and then explain the sort of training/progression you want to see. PS do you keep recorded time for tasks in the panel beating industry? if so what is your percentage efficiency ? Phil
  16. thats is the stuff, now the heart ache really begins. and your previously mentioned 'high speed runs' become something you can do in only a number of seconds Enjoy Phil
  17. Or you could get yourself a FPR and FCC remove the fuel cut and add some fuel, but you'd need to know somebody with a wideband to get it set up. but a ct9 @1bar with fuelling setup goes dead on, crude but good. i happen to being selling both parts you would need for this setup, and if you were in ireland i could get your fuelling sorted too. but your in east sussex lol Phil
  18. when you say 'keep stock bottom end' you should be say 'keep stock block' as thats what you are meaning. as other have pointed out to replace the rod and pistons with forged items is upgraging the 'bottom end' but as per your request you would need a kit with stock diameter pistons (74mm) to allow you to simply rehone and fit without any serious engine block work. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. if the car is a longterm commitment & daily driver i would put the extra machining costs to the back of your mind and go for 74.5mm pistons and therefore a 0.5mm o
