  1. you can buy a diesel ct9 exhaust housing cheap and do it on that. or a blown ct9 as you only need the exhaust housing. Phil
  2. it will help, allows the boost to clear the wastegate easier and therefore reducing creep. Phil
  3. good option, so long as its setup right. Phil
  4. the facts. Zeldoz, a smaller filter will help, i feel that encouraging the duct tape is beyond what im prepared to do LOL Phil
  5. the boost controller can only bleed pressure to keep the wastegate closed longer, no help whatsoever the strongest actuator in the world cant help lower boost it job is the opposite, to hold the wastegate closed and then release at a certain pressure. when the internal wastegate is the limitation, you cant mask it or help it all without either restricting the flow upstream (intake track restriction) or increasing the downstream pressure(exhaust back pressure) Phil
  6. did you only fit a hks acutator and boost controller and you reduced your creep? or did you change anything else at the same time? Phil
  7. she should ahve felt privilaged to keep her freezer in the garage not binned your gear lol Phil

I've a jam on here Pm me Phil
  12. Every jam ecu is different, but most seem to fuel ct9 and hybrid dead on. Obviously some have been mapped for bigger turbos but nobody knows what ones they are. So if you happened to be running one mapped for a k26 and 440cc injectors it may be grand running a td04 at 1bar. Emphasis on May. But that said even one mapped for a ct9 will run a td04 car but it will just be running in the safe target area of the jam which seems to be that when things get beyond it's tune it aims for mid low 10s. Poor setup but better than nothing. Mega overpriced but really a sign of how expensive tuners are these days that people still spend 400+ for a punt in the dark to save on setup costs Phil
  13. haha, it all fits together now! Phil
  14. aye suppose it depends, different for different people. Phil
  15. Being close makes it worse, just watching my GT follow me in the rear view was far from pleasant! Phil
  16. Fantastic stuff, great to see the extra pics etc Chief Quimby. the car is over on TGTT right, we have a few danes on board over there one mental one who built his daughter a forged 5efte for her first car if i remember correctly. but dont get worried bout your doubts, thats the very nature of a sleeper Phil
  17. sure is lol and i love it. Phil
  18. I think often whilst they know they have the right guy who has done x or y, they also know he has knowledge of others who are doing similar and through torture they can extract additional information. not so much a matter of looking for a admission of guilt more beating information reduce the risk to the general public in the future. not condoning it per say just explaining its easy to see why they do it, even to the right guy. Phi
  19. Most PMs from you cost me money. lol even when your the buyer LOL Phil
  20. they werent talking about this ecu though. as Trisk says, easy peasy. Phil
  21. Think glanza87 lol Phil
  22. its an old school Fcon easy set up, no software/mapping issues. Phil

  24. Whats the definition of stock ignition? i agree with Azz its been known to blow before 2bar before, but the picture doesnt look like stock ingition? though ive no idea what na starlets iginition system is like. Phil
  25. Standalone would negate the need for either boost controller or gauge. The Danes are mental. Love it Phil
