td04 turbo decent tune (even fcd fpr) and you will have your mates stock ep3 no problem. now go search td04 and you will genuinely see probably 100 threads in the last year and thousands from u-k-s-c Phil

the issue with braking it (not to ruin your plans for the bumper) is that Russ wants to stop spending all his time on the car, breaking a car makes it the focal point of life for at least a month probably longer! Phil

if you have the option of taking some time, speak to your tuner get a stock engine in there and stock turbo and let it go for 1500 quid it wont take long to shift. that way you have engine and turbo kit which is where all the money is, sitting waiting for the right mk1 ep82 or whatever your ideal EP is in a few years time. garage it, park it/lend it to a mate i wish i had with mine. seriously the 2800 is nothing just a shot of cash. give it to a good mate and get him to pay you 50/100 quid a month until you want it back. there is 2k in the engine and turbo kit alone. to by a stock gt/V and take it back to that sort of spec would be mega bucks.
