  3. No Prob Have a read http://www.physics247.com/physics-tutorial/turbochargers.shtml Engine is basically an air pump You want more air moving threw it faster to make more power. Your fuelling just needs tuned to match the air flow. So you need more air if your going to make power from Additional fuel. Phil
  4. Flip have a few must check through them now and get things cleared up Phil
  5. Your still not asking the right question Again the answer is no power gain Unless you change something else to require that extra fuelling potential Phil
  6. No offence taken pal. I'm pretty sure I know the username right back since TGTT days, you've been around fast starlets for some time for sure, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. No harm no foul. Phil
  7. That's the only road car I've heard of going for good money. I know Spuddy was a lot more than that plus a Subaru in exchange. hard to price really. Anyways in a nut shell it's a low mileage shell, and even lower mileage engine/suspension and it's proven at the limit regularly. If you came for a run and seen the abuse this thing takes and takes I genuinely believe you wouldn't dare let me take the keys to any other 300hp starlet for 10mins and expect to get it back in one piece. And it isn't pot luck, it's trial and error, proper sized brakes and good balance is a start, then engine that can take the 7500+ every gear every time solid lifters etc and a cooling package to match. But I do appreciate that this isn't the usual sort of thing - it's a class specific car built with regs so no Lairy spoilers or body kits allowed etc but it could be bought and run in any MSA Hillclimbs or sprint with maybe minor tweaks Due to local rulings. It's not just road legal it's classed by MSA as roadgoing. Regarding the price - I'm aware that the market on here is mainly a parts market with few people likely to be interested in a complete car, it's been on pistonheads and Rms since the breaking thread has been up and I've contacted GordR on here specifically in the off chance as I know he uses his cars in a similar fashion. I have had interest but I'd still not be surprised if I do have to break it. Unless engine and turbo kit sell it'll be staying together until I get another crack at craigantlet for sure Phil
  8. Looks quality
  9. Yup def be simpler to sell, if only someone was about to embark on a starlet race/sprint/Hillclimb car build Phil
  10. Agreed lol I did take it out today a skelp and it was refreshing. But to answer the thread title no I don't think they have doubled in price overnight. Phil
  11. That's my motor It's in the breaking section on here too, shows how likely I am to find a buyer lol Phil What he said lol Phil
  12. Hmm bump Phil
  13. Super pics man Phil
  14. Any 4e pistons will fit the maxspeeding rods Phil
  15. Ready have a buyer for it if I do break sorry Phil
  16. I dunno I think c52 with good gear oil is the best we can do with what we have. I think that swapping a 6speed in with these two gears may be the most cost effective long term mod when you consider everything out there http://www.simplysportscars.com/shop/gears-and-final-drives/10185-gear-set-3rd-4th-c64 Proven at 500hp Phil
  17. Stock? I've a new wideband kit on the car last year as well forgot about that and a spare new sensor I'll update the list later - going to Let Her sit forsale complete for a wee While yet unless Someone wants engine and turbo kit. Phil

  21. Nothing recent I'll nip out to the garage here two sec Phil
  22. You have to remove the top of course because the cams are out I'd leave the lower half of the belt cover in place and it should stay on the bottom pulley just fine Phil
  23. will see what way it pans out. Phil
  24. Maybe the big racey parts wont sell and it wont be worth breaking and then we can have another season of fun lol the wife would simply have to accept that it makes perfect sense lol Phil
