if you happy with 15" id go with these http://www.driftworks.com/forum/wheels-tyres-sale-private-sales/234031-15-advan-tcs-4x100.html or my sparcos or my work racing wheels. Phil
  7. That's the way to do it, was well received on there as well, it's is a fine looking example! Phil
  8. Exhausts are usually ok from the budget brands. As you alluded to, the horror stories are almost always with the manifolds! Nice car, think I seen you post it up on driftworks? Phil
  9. Lol must just be the 'area' you live in Phil
  10. Sorry didn't intend to offend, or even bait anyone by that comment. To answer you, GCSEs aren't easy or hard themselves but some people do find them difficult. purely dependant on the persons with the pen. And no I don't let your average mechanic near my build Regarding me and my build.. I like to big up the guys who help me a lot with my build and play down my involvement altogether. see my build thread on tgtt for details. I'll say nothing more as this was not intended as a jab at anyone personally! Phil
  11. We weren't a million miles away, sure the sky only appears to be blue?! Lol @will I hope it is something simple and you can solve it soon. I'd def recommend going back to wg only to check it out. Phil
  12. Should have the car at least running after next weekend Post it up on toyotagtturbo and you will maybe gain some more interest from the Northstars crew Phil
  13. Haha and if we being pedantic... And in a similar vein I didn't say that you were saying that I had suggested it was both mbc and ebc. I was merely clarifying that what you said was not what I had meant. Me: The sky's blue, You: Yes but the grass IS green Sounds like an argument but it's not Phil
  14. Def not what I was suggesting, but rather some shared piping used by both mbc and ebc would cause the same issue if there Is a tiny split in a vac line or t piece. You striped it back to just the wastegate and it held solid before, do that again you see what happens. If your at the point of considering a new wg id say being certain yours is faulty is high in priorities Phil
  15. Leak split vac pipe ? Have you tried running it on just the wg? ( and not just with ebc turned off but with all the piping off the wg so there is definitely no bleeding of pressure happening ) Phil
  16. True True... And there is machine shops and there are machine shops like anything, even mechanics arent always all that (rarely all that) My mechanic can map HKS/link/motec/omex/emerald/EMS/AEM/etc..... but i know some that wouldnt pass a GCSE knowing what your dealing with is important, and i suppose why extra care should be taken when using chinese stuff. Phil
  17. id want them freshly lapped in whatever you where using. Phil
