Gona do another compression test with my fingers crossed. If its still the same readings will go from ther. Bled it all correctly. Today is the first time its taken so long to heat up. Thats the only reason i questioned the thermostat.

I know what your talking bout. Will try tht. As well as another compression test. What if its not the head gasket ?? Any other causes of soo much pressure in the hoses ???

Seems fine everything smells normal just dunno wot else to check. Gona do another comp. test if thats still okay any ideas as to whats the cause ?? Could a faulty thermostat cause this ??

Yea fans came on temp gauge didnt go ryt up to halfway at first took quite a while to get warm. No heaters on or anything.

Also the rad cap on the civic is 1.1 bar. Cap on standard was 0.9. Dont think tht would make a difference tho.

Done a compression test last week after fitting a civic rad. Got readings of 165 170 170 170. All seemed fine. Then today started it up gave it a little rev. Steam from engine bay. Both top and bottom hoses go rock hard. Pressure causing little bit of coolant to escape from turbo coolant pipe. Switch off engine to remove rad cap expecting it to explode in my face however comes off releasing the normal amount of pressure. Any other faults that can cause both rad hoses to have so much pressure. ???? HELP.

Went to try install my boost controller. Problem is one of the pipes from the solenoid goes onto the nipple at the inlet manifold and this is the same nipple my dump valve goes onto. One nipple two pipes you see ? I know the other two go to the turbo and actuator.

Bet its rubbing where the earth strap from the batterey is connected to the gearbox.

Does anyone know much about these cant seem to get much info on these. See alot of stuff about jam blitz etc but not much ksrom. Wot are the best mods to get the most from it ?? I have mesh ct9. Fmic. Decat. Straight through exhaust. Got a hks evc3 but its not installed. Should i leave my apexi neo afc wired in ?? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
