Thanks for all the replies guys! If anytime is a good time to buy one of these for me it's now as the fiancée and I haven't moved in yet where she's still at UNI so hopefully won't go wrong but money's a little easier! I really like the sound of this one and if she looks and drives the part on Friday I think I'll be leaving a deposit. Thanks, Tom.

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=271314271018 I'm going to look at this bmw 330d on Friday and I really like the sound of it. What do people think?? The advert says the auto box has already been done so hopefully won't need doing again(£2000 I won't have to worry about). Thanks, Tom.

Hi, I tried to post an add last night on here for my starlet as I need a quick sale (within next 2 weeks) but I think my photo is too big when I copy and paste it. How do you add photos on here easily? Thanks, Tom.

There are actually so many types of sustainable energy on our planet it's ridiculous! Solar power, wind power, tidal power, geo-thermal energy! It's also said that the first electric car was invented over 100 years ago, and also a guy in America, New York in the 1880s called nikola tesla (inventor of the alternating current) actually developed and tested a propulsion system that powered itself via vibration. But because the oil industry is so profitable why would the elite want the masses to have sustainable energy because then they couldn't charge money for it. It would always be there. T

What's going on? Scrappage Scheme Tragedy!

Yeah I totally agree, it is a real shame there aren't more classic cars, like the 205s, cosies etc but also what I find being 21 the insurance is so much cheaper on newer cars because their safety ratings etc. For me a real nice starlet for maybe £4000ish is well over £2000 to insure, where a bmw 330d or similar is £995 a year and has 300ftlb torque as standard. Yeah I get what you're saying lads, but from my personal point of view really a starlet for me should be a second / track / weekend car rather than a day to day runner. Daily runners get pounded on the shite roads we all have and by the weather. I'm in the market for something more comfy with all the trimmings etc, but that doesn't mean I'm not a petrol head or mechanically minded it's just a difference in circumstances doing more miles etc. I would like another starlet in the future as they are great fun but just not quite right for me at the moment which is why I'm selling it. Haha the audi and mustang ones are brilliant!!! I still can't make my mind up if they're genuine or not... Frightening if they are!!! Tom. -
Turbo seals would be blue wouldn't it? I think if it's white it's the turbo itself? Tom.

Valve stem oil seals would smoke all the time wouldn't it? I get a little blue smoke on boost which is turbo seals but white smoke could also be turbo too??? Maybe some shaft play? Tom.

Hiya mate, I have a 91 mk1 starlet gonna be up for sale soon, probably want around £1200 for it, however i wouldn't describe it as mint. The bodywork is good but needs a paint job I would say as it's an old import and has a lot of fade in places. I would say it runs sweet but just needs a little work in places, interior is standard apart from drivers seat which is a bucket seat with a harness. Overall good little runner I do roughly 150 - 200 miles a week. Current mileage is 177,000 km. haven't posted in the forsale section get but will post full advert soon. Thanks, Tom.

Let me know what you get pal!! I'm looking at the same price bracket and still undecided between a bm or merc. Leaning towards the Beemer atm. Tom. -
In America now they have a situation at the airports where some children are being searched when they go through the scanners and hands are being put down their pants etc and baby's nappies are being taken off... Look for the measures of control. Take the power from within.. When they came for the Muslims I wasn't a Muslim so I did nothing, when they came for the Jews I wasn't a Jew so I did nothing and when they came for the Syrians I wasn't a Syrian so I did nothing.. But when they came for me there was no one left to speak out for me. We are all one.

Haha fair one! I must admit had a dumb moment as suddenly assumed you meant the C63 or something as I was looking at some on the bay last night. That would be sweet but the fuel would be rediculous! My mates 330 is bad enough.. Gets it down to 18 mpg... Wouldn't like to think what that would do!
