  5. UPDATE! So been driving her about and found my 2nd hand manifold is a bit blowy, not to mention my turbo has started screeching. Car is now off the road so i decided id paint the engine bay whilst juggling the other issues: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BSOUwShwKY Currently working on the turbo side of things; refacing manifold, porting wastegate and sealing the decat/screamer so there is no leaks off boost. Also in the pipeline is a ct9/ct20 hybrid of which i will post at a later date...

  11. na theres more to the conversion then this adapter plate. wanna keep it ct9 for. got a gt28r for when the time comes
  12. turns out there is play in the shaft. what should i do next, budget options: - source a rebuild kit and have a go myself? - get a 2nd hand ct9? - send it away to be rebuilt? whats the most cost effective way? or should i go mental and get a ct9 hybrid? i have some ct20's kicking about, should i mix 'n' match?

  14. how hot is the car getting, if its really hot then the revs will rise. check: - all vacuum hoses - pcv for any breaks - recheck icv and clean if necessary. - any visible cracks in manifold

  17. so you had it 1 week, was it running fine a week ago prior to the mods? if so backtrack what you've done until you figure out whats wrong
  18. minis always are. you get good bhp for the size of the motor and parts wether replacement or upgrades are cheap as chips. ive had 7 or 8 minis ranging from old bangers upto turbocharged and bodykitted beasts!
