is that 50mm the same as the 4efte intake or better? i take it thats the sensor that goes off to the airbox on the NA setup?

so i have an intake off a 5efhe spare and was wandering if it can take a turbo? if so are there any benefits over the normal turbo intake?

no rods needed just the piston heads, std size 4efte (will also consider forged if price is right) - has to be good condition. thanks ryan

cheaper the better gonna get the rebuild kit and rings from speedvision, comes to £330 posted - good price for what you get i think

whats the going rate for a set 4efte pistons anyway?

looks like the 4efte pistons are for the win then with some oversized rings?

and what about going 74mm flat tops for example??

need to keep my 4e as a built unit to transfer back in the sera. im thinking set of bigger pistons and get block bored, but that means id lost the high compression ive wanted

guys and gals, i did a compression test on my 5efhe today in preparation for turbo'ing and putting in my GT. the test was done WOT and the first number is based on 4 revs/turns of the key, the other is max reading. Piston 1 - 160psi (max = just under 200psi) Piston 2 - 145psi (max = 170psi) Piston 3 - 150psi (max = just under 170psi) Piston 4 - 90psi (max = 105psi) My plan was high compression td04, i take it number 4 needs sorting - what about others? cheers

think the thermo is stuck open, i dont even have the fan attached cause spins on cold. can u fix the old ones or just get a new one?

what is the normal operating temp for these engines? I have a td04 4e with cold air intake, fmic, and triple core rad. I can warm up to half way on idle but when driven I can only get to about 1/8 of the way up on the gauge - is that normal, I always thought half way was the best operating temp??
