  1. not good, 90 on the 1st one and under 140 on all the others looks like another rebuild
  2. deleted and ran for a few days, smoke is dramatically reduced but im still getting this huge puffs when decelerating suddenly ie; high reving in3rd/4th then hitting the brakes down into 2nd (cornering) and accelerating - this is when the smoke occurs; not on startup or idle??
  3. What's the easiest way concerning drive shafts?
  4. how long will it take me to remove the motor from the engine bay? ive got tools and a crane so basically going to lift the lump out whole less mani, turbo and downpipe. that way it would be a case of loosening the mounts and any connecting sensor wires/throttle cable then out she comes. is it easier to disconnect gearbox and lift just lump out? any ideas for a quick and smooth transition please comment Cheers
  5. Just to confirm 4efte yeh not 4efe Pm me details
  6. running the td04, will rebuild and fit my ct9 but until then open the wastegate fully and disconnect intercooler at intake and place filter there. cheers
  7. yeh i did think that, just read a few articles on valve seals and veered towards that. will delete the setup and see how she goes. cheers man
  8. I have random plumes of smoke occurring when I'm decelerating downhill towards a red light for example or when I accelerate an incline in the wrong gear (3rd round a corner up a hill for example). I'm not really seeing smoke anywhere else such as stand still, startup etc. I did have an oily turbo of which I've eliminated a lot of smoke by turning the boost right down. am I right in thinking this is the valve stems?
  9. looking for either: 3118 e304 3118 preferred as dont have the map sensor to run e304
  10. found the wiki on rebuilding the td04 but havent found one for the ct9 just need to know spanner size of turbine nut, tried 9mm and 10mm but need to know the half measurment (ie 12.5mm = 1/2")before i can buy one. cheers

  15. whats the value of the following 5efhe parts (from a Sera): airbox + filter exhaust manifold ecu (automatic) cam cover piston heads - full set
  16. emu for the win then if there is no td04 dedicated p&p unit out there. will go snug with my e01 too
  17. as in the title what is the best branded ecu to run a td04 with a 5e motor? i was planning a e-manage blue and getting it mapped (could cost upto and over £700) and was wandering if there is a cheaper alternative even if it is £400-500. cheers ryan
