I know this topic has been covered 100 times but every thread I read seems to bum out and no one actually puts there hands up and says 'yep that worked'. I could really do with an answer as this has been an annoying feature of my starlet since I've had it and im holding back on buying an exhaust as I don't want it stuck gargling at 2000rpm in traffic everyday. so as you've seen already the car idles at upto 2000rpm sometimes over but mainly at 18-1900. I have swapped out the ICV for a 2nd hand id-workz one - still high. I have noticed a constant clicking sound coming from both

think thats done it, it was loose form when i was troubleshooting a camshaft seal and forgot to redo up. cheers mate

hello all, i have an annoying vibration sound coming from the engine. it sounds like its coming from the drivers side but normally sound travels so it could be from the passengers. it does not make the sound at idle but when i accelerate and change gear it can be heard. anyone experienced something like this? can get a video up for a better understanding

check your actuator, my bracket was loose so when it boosted and the actuator opened the gate it would then push itself back causing a fluctuation on boost

no youd still get some boost as its still forcing it in at the join, its just not a tight seal -

is there much needed to convert an ep82 exhaust to suit an ep91 setup? i can imagine the bacbox mounts are diff but anything else?

fan relay (circular one)? could always wire in some connectors direct to a switched fuse, will run all the time but will stop you overheating whilst u diagnose issue

where I drive I rarely get into 5th and never really get to thrash it through the gears. is there an alternative gearbox maybe from a 1.0 that I could swap the diff into that might give a closer ratio in gears?
