Yeh 2mm is available, may have to try get a custom one slightly bigger. They are pretty sensitive to piston to valve clearance. Not non interference like the 4es

Power steering just removed pump and everything, loop the steering rack pipes and away you go. No need to do the other bits. Its really not that bad to park etc

Took my charade block to be decked and turned out to be warped somehow.strange for a block. This was the better of the blocks i had so now left with a block that has 15thou of it and a head with 10thou plus on it. Obviously this is now going to cause issues with timing and exhaust valve clearance. Standard headgasket is 1.25mm crushed so looking to have to run around a 2.25mm gasket or standard gasket and decompression plate. Have read mixed reviews on these and wondered if anyone has ever used one?

Best bet is get a dog, cant blame a dog for what it does if a cat enters your house! Cats should be kept on leads and taken outside not left to roam around just because its easy for the owners. I tried welding mine but used the wrong wire then gave up. Tapp and bolt means you can clean it out again

Drilled the revits out. The tapped and bolted them on with loctite
