    Matrix 'flushing'

Hahahahaha man up you girl You prob want some slider grips to loosly grip the pipes to twist the pipes to break the seal, but not to tight as you could bend, crush or maybe break the pipes into the matrix. If youve got some maybe try some penetrating oil under the pipes if you can get to it, leave it for a lil while and it might work into the scum and loosen up the pipes a bit
  9. Any reason you cant?

  13. £5500 + shipping etc
  14. I wouldnt bother with it, i you are that fussed put a new heavy duty cable from battery to chassis, from the same point on the chassis to the engine and that will be plenty ino I've relocated my battery and all i did was earth from my rear strut tower to the battery and run a small earth along the drivers side from the engine and earth it at all the earthing points along the way just to help create a constant earth directly from the engine. Been like it 4 years and it works fine with out all the messy earthing kit wires
  15. On the saturday i imagine, if its unlimited. but depends on how busy it is, if youve never done it it is, get a time see if u can better yourself but if its queued up out past the entry to the strip you wont get many runs in

  19. Cheers dude, I've replied to your pm as well ;) Yeah can't wait for the summer and shows and stuff, be good to meet some people and show people around it and take some people for a spin etc Its just a shame the winter brings the worst of the engine bay out unfortunately
  20. Right, test fitted my bonnet today, definately heading for the amber corners again. Just looks really odd with the crystals imo. Anyway heres a couple of pictures! The vent isnt 100% even but meehh slag bonnet, its to serve a purpose rather than look good Opinions welcome people

  22. Oh my dayz! Waaaaaaaaannnnnnnnttttt
  23. That crankshaft doesnt hit the oil, so you're best keeping it topped up to full, the baffle plate is there to stop the oil from leaving the sump in mass quantities so you would never notice the oil hitting the sump. Proper baffled sumps usually are bigger than oem ones ;) At a rough guess 3.5ltrs for engine oil, but as it comes in 5ltrs keep checking it until it reaches top level marking on dipstick
  24. Half the uk specs came with them i think, it depends on how tight the original owner was feeling when they brought the car i guess, if they got a model with something else or spec'd it with something else
  25. Erm duno then. You got any tar and glue remover to try, see if thats more effective?
