  1. I saw this a few weeks ago, think the likes of f1 ha been using something like this for a while to get the revs that they do but, 30% more effecient, power and torque with less weight. Can make as much power and torque in a 3cylinder 1.5 as a camshaft driven 4cyliner 2.0 And no its nothing like a rotary as they use ports not valves ;)
  2. I've got a rebuilt kit with these, so im going to make a good pair first, then with the ones on my car and the left overs from these ill try make another good set! ;)
  3. My mate got around to shot blasting all my spare calipers today so now have all of these to make an good set from!
  4. Not quite the standard of some of these^^ but, One of a couple of mates, alvis in the n/a k24 civic. It took the uk fwd N/A record on its first outing lol its now been brought by a tuning shop and is painted blue with a fiberglass front end! Jaffa in the nsx getting owned haha http://youtu.be/lYEIclCKN6w
  5. Make it more aerodynamic, lighter and thinner tyres ;) You dont need power to go faster although it does help
  6. Mine did this stock, and on a flat did about 115mph, but take into speedo error that would make it about 107-8mph which is pretty much book speed
  7. Tbh i dont think its too much to worry about, its only 6200rpm. the limiter is there to prevent any over revving. If you decide to Keep revving it hard keep it serviced more often. Oh and dont be a tool and hold it on the limiter in car parks lol The early 4efe's used to rev to 7k so the engine can probably handle revving more than what yours does
  8. The speed you do in each gear will never change unless you change your rev limit or the ratio's in the gearbox. Only the way it pulls to the limiter in each gear is effected by breathing mods Approximately on the speedo you will get on the limiter of 6250rpm 2nd = 57 3rd = 84 4th = 110 just under iirc 5th = 125-30 if you could reach it (not enough power standard) You also have to bare in mind your speedo is inaccurate and wheel size will affect how far out the speedo is. 100mph in mine is more like 94mph satnav speed
  9. No problem dude!
  10. Gotta love black V's Jag had a mint one as well His for sale thread if you want to see it. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/56929-jags-black-98-hybrid-glanza-v-l3500/?fromsearch=1
  11. More expensive but they have them in stock http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_40/Category_2/3438
  12. You want a set like this Rather than the normal ones like this, i presume?
  13. Id like to see this with a 20v, mine has some get up and go, cant imagine it minus 200kgs! Lol
  14. Depends on colour, mines black and i think clear looks odd so I've just swapped mine out for an amber set. Silver i think suits clear but i surpose its personal preference tbh
  15. Yeah that should be fine, well thats wha i use and I've had to do mine 3 years running Haha well when you take them apart you will. They're basically a bit of hollow tube with a groove at either end! Lol
  16. Yea usually the case, you will want to clean the area in the caliper thoroughly as well a these rust up also! Then give it a good covering of some high temp grease lol
  17. Please do! People like this deserve all the shit they can get
  18. Damn! Not sure the rents would want another car on the drive
  19. Stock Itb's But yeah the 15 was flywheel, decat and exhaust 14.9 with a shorter ratio box with what i think is an lsd box but i dont think it works very well in a straight line lol
  20. Yea i did a 15.05 at 95mph with shocking 2.7sec 0-60ft times Then managed a 14.9 with 90-91mph with 2.4 or something 0-60ft Im around 170hp though
  21. Id say mid to low 15's, really depends on the launch etc ;)
  22. I've found its usually the sliders that seize, so a quick clean up of them and a regrease usually works. Problem is if the gaitor has split and let all the dirt and water in the chances are the slider has started to rust or corrode, so it will keep coming back!! The other problem is the handbrake cable seizing.
  23. Very common problem, seal kit fom id works or camskills about £56 for the pair, usually a case of remove the sliders giv them an clean up with scotch pad grease up and re-assemble but if youve got the time a full strip down would be better. I've done this^^^ basic regrease 3 years running now, just brought 2 sets of calipers and a rebuild kit so going to make a nearly new set from them lol
  24. Yeah me too, im swaping my clears for matts but needed to fit some for the mot so these will do untill the new ones arrive! And yes but i really cant deside on what i want, Tte isnt deep enough neithers the cupra, laguna has been over done so now im like what next! Any ideas??
  25. I thought they were about £26 for the pair from yota, its the side ones that are like £6 aint it?
