That exhaust is sexual me likey!! and Good luck at Td im sure theres going to be yet another satisfied customer in a few hours lol
-
I wouldnt bother, tanabes i had for a very short drive, was on 185/65/14's and even with all that tyre i could still feel every grain of sand shattering my spine lol That being said 1 rear one was fucked and leaking which is also the other issue, they are getting old now. They are also the old style coilover where you raise the spring so upset the preload, if your guna get coilys get some d2's meisters or bc's with the adjustable mount with the fixed preload

I was going to cut one out of a car at a scrappy. my brothers mate studied body work in college and they had loads of books on panel replacement, they had diagrams of where all the welds and spot welds were so all you had to do was drill and cut them and hey presto one panel out. Might be worth trying to source on if thats what you have to do!

Fwd the fastest? All top fuel drag cars are rwd. The nyce car are quick as they are tin cans with masses of power. Not saying fwd cant be quick as I've seen 9sec an under civics etc but you take that 9sec civic and put in on an actual track with a 9 second evo, scoob, gtr etc etc the civic would be useless Fwd is good upto 300-350 on a good chassis for circuit, 200-250 for road. drag is completely different as a 10second fwd will be useless at 90% of other types of racing without serious modifications.

Brilliant mate congrats! All that hard work and hours of tinkering are all coming together!!

Disc axle conversion gt axle the same as glanza?
morgey replied to Jamie93DLZ's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Dont want to start and arguement rmsnoel but I've deffinately seen a thread with a tape measure involved theres a difference in the thickness of the plate that the stub axle is mounted on meaning overall track of the car is slightly wider. Yep here it is dude, not a lot of difference but theres a small amount in width http://board.tercelonline.com/viewthread.php?action=printable&tid=39844 But just looking you are correct about using the n/a axle and fitting disc cariers etc and here is a guide on how to fit the disc package to the drum axle for any reference you may need people, just instead of faffing with the handbrake cables make sure you have gt/glanza ones and you will be fine. http://www.tercelreference.com/articles/rear_brake_conversion/rear_brake_conversion.html That should wrap this up now hopefully -
Cheers Sr rat still going to test the ambers tho Thanks for the heads up and the fitting guide matts I think my clifford has got a secondard chip reader though, under my dash theres a key with a wire wrapped around it which i think is for the remote start function so i might not actually need the one around my ignition barrel. Either way ill have a butchers as see what i end up with Thanks again

Meh i can't be arsed to read i was on my phone, cheers guys!

This has to be my favourite colour, i really want a levin in this colour but its rare as hell! Good luck with it dude!
-
Being foam you probably want to oil it. The oil collects any dirt and dust. not sure if the panel filters are the same as the mushrooms or sock filters but they both need regular cleans and re-oils
-
I've got a local breakers with a few in, need a cheap short shifter for mine anyway so i shall give it a shot! Cheers dude
-
Cheers, not sure on the clear conrners atm, might try my ambers back on and see which i prefer! :/ Yeah will do mate, gotta dog up the fitting guide and have ago at it this weekend if its not snowing. If it is ill be helping my friend put his 4wd swift turbo bak together

The signal getting sent to the ecu is slowed down, so if at 112mph or 180kph (right at the end of the clock) its pulsing 100times a second for instance. 90kph = 50pulses 180kph =100 You fit the convertor so now the end of the clock is now equal to 180mph the pulse at this point would still be 100pulses a second but because you are now reading the old kph dials in mph you are never going to reach this point After fitting 90mph = 50 180mph = 100 If you get me, oh and they are made up figures by the way! Lol
-
Oh yeah forgot about speedo convertors, they attach to the speedo cable and turn your clocks from kph to mph so basically moves you limiter from 112-120ish to 180mph These are £50 maybe The Sld gets spliced into the speed signal wire on the ecu, fairly easy job to do usually a small 2" square flat box stickied to the ecu or nearby
-
Either an aftermarket plug and play ecu Jam Toms Blitz Etc etc £400 upwards Or a standalone £500 plus fitting ad mapping minimum or piggyback? Think these delimit. you can get emanage blue fitted and mapped £550 at Td (traders section) Or buy a speed limit delimiter (defencer) £120ish Hks make them, fensport sell them but if you look about you can find them cheaper

Another part turned up yesterday thanks to tyron devine. Oem ignition barrel light Im tempted to change all the green lights to a different colour, maybe blue? But first things first, see what she needs for the MoT i guess!

Mazda 3 diesel sport 2.2 170hp, can get ones that look like the mps's or avensis's with the sports kit, lancer diesels 170hp If you wanted to stay jap that is
-
Haha let us know what he says back

I've got both and never had issues with the ps pad, but the xbox i did. The pulled back triggers are better but the battery pack (extra) that the xbox controller had always got in the way and i just didnt like the offset left joy stick. Personal preference i guess but i always was happier with the ps controller. Online gaming yes the 360 seemed more consistent than the ps3 but this is a new console so hopefully a new network that performs better. After all that is the main thing they were blaring on about in this announcement lol
