  5. Budget build FTW!! People forget these where cheap cars back in the day never intened for 10k++++ builds be good to see some normality in a starlet for a change (not that a TD04 GT can be called "normal" by any stretch of the imagination!) Best of luck with it lad

  10. I have been looking around for something similar can you send me a link please mate? Is it possible to replace the Bulbs's behind the centre console i.e. the heater/AC controls mine are very faded and I would like to replace them if possible as they are very dull I have a feeling however these are soldered on..anybody every open the heater controls?? I have a spare heater control at home I think I will crack it open and take a look this evening
  11. If you watch the video the lights are plastic and moulded to the grill what a crazy car!
  12. Will most definitely have a look at this thanks for the head up!
  13. Thanks for the info it seems to be quite unpopular/not widely used I wonder is it the initial cost or the lack of places to buy reliably? This is very interesting Adam I will most definitely be keeping my eye on the market over here and see if sellers here are doing the same. How practical is it to run methanol?Im not sure how easy or prohibitively expensive it is to find and run on daily basis same goes for race fuel. Plans are moving forward and fuelling is most definitely an area I wont be disregarding and have every intention of dropping the fuel tank in the sp
  14. I dont think its unrealistic to expect a manufacturer of any component to provide relevant details on the installation and possible problems that can be encountered during said installation of their products having said that Zisco is not exactly a huge company and I would imagine they are very busy so getting time to release information such as this could be hard however I think that with components such as these (far from cheap and not exactly "bot on") it should be a priority to give the buyer as much information as possible
  15. Ever run it?How much of a hit on economy are we talking?Any idea how many rubber seals in the system?would it require the fuel tank to be dropped?
  16. I was under the impression that the air/fuel ratio would be completely different and seeing as it would require more E85 per injection to get the same amount of combustion a high flow fuel pump and larger injectors would be a necessity along with a fuel pressure regulator but I have never used it so I could be completely wrong would like to hear some more thoughts on this I does seem quite expensive almost twice the price of standard petrol so would be curious to know how MPG etc is affected before I bite the bullet so to speak
  17. Hey guys and girls just curious as to whether there are many starlets mapped on E85 about the place and how does the car feel after the change id be very interested in hearing people pro's and cons on this as a petrol station near me sells it and I was considering going for it! I have had a search around the net about the benefits on E85 and seems like a really good alternative to the standard crap we get over here especially when running more power the main disadvantage I can see is the fact it takes more E85 to make the same power as a smaller amount of petrol however I have heard people sa
  18. Could it be a leftover switch from a previous owner using the illuminated Indigo Dials?
  19. No worries I believe Sacha at WEPR has experience fitting these to customers cars in Malta using universal condensers, may be worth your while to pm him for sizes/specs etc im sure he would be willing to help and you should be able to find some more locally once you know what size you need etc happy hunting mate
  20. Dyno everytime IMO less safety issues and from what Ive seen with dynos you have far more control over the tune Best of luck with it sounds like its gonna fly!
  21. Have you considered using a smaller condenser like for example out of a civic for your air con unit that way you could mount the relocated air filter in the more preferred position? I have heard of the Japanese doing this but I havnt done much investigating nor have I seen any examples in the metal but maybe an interesting idea for you to try. Lovely Glanza mate looks like a very clean example best of luck with it
  22. Are you asking for the alarm model number or the Relay? The Alarm is an Autowatch 457rli I cant say how much it would cost as I got a whole bunch of other bits with it (customised central locking, aftermarket security locks all round like used on cigarette vans etc as well as few other bits and bobs) so best bet would be to ring around just remember it can be the best alarm in the world if it installed badly its more or less useless if a good thief gets there hands on your car! Its a highly recommended alarm arguably one of the best in the world was developed by a South African company and
  23. I put my turbo timer relay in behind the clocks nice neat job but I have learned to respect to speedo cable that thing is a bitch to get back on! I had a Cat 1 toad in mine when I bought it I hated it ripped it out and got an Autowatch 2 way immobilizing alarm with all the bells and whistles very happy with it the speaker siren and back-up siren is LOUD!!!
  24. Yea really should have mentioned that in fact the "turbo timer" I put in my car is nothing more than a relay that holds the ignition power for a couple of seconds so could possibly be similar
