After the longest wait ever i finally got my bits back from the polisher! I got a few bits welded while it was there but it should brighten up the bay a bit 😎 And the rest of the part for the 5e. Oil & water pump. Gasket set. Timing belt kit and x5 oil filters

That's a bit of a shame about the anti roll bar dude! Is there much modification required? From what I can see it looks like you only need it to be an inch or so lower? As if your RARB was factory!! Does any one else have one of these do you know? I wouldn't mind getting one in the near future but I'd imagine it's going to have to be custom 😞

The pace should be picking up now! I'm waiting for a few parts to turn up from TD for the 5e still. The block, crank and head are with rob Barnard now who will be building the engine, I'd be hoping to get it back mid July and fitted by the end of July. Got a few goodies turn up in the mean time... Apexi Powerfc... The EMB would have been out of its limits with the injectors I'm playing to use And a fensport crank pulley as the old one chipped into a million pieces!!

Yeh mate when I tried to do mine I ordered glanza boots but they were too short, I know the new ones will be a lot tighter but it still wasn't happening, as soon as your turn the joint slightly it just popped straight off

Dan have you changed your inner ones before? I had difficulty finding ones that'd fit the 4paw 😔

If it's just the pump you need to change there's no need to drop the tank out, you can access it from the top. Remove the rear seat bench, on the passenger side there's a metal cover, remove this then you'll have access to the bolts that hold the pump in place

I managed to pick up my crank today from the engineer, he gave me the all clear 😊 he also gave it a light polish too! Also received my head gasket, Arp head bolts and low temp thermostat from TD

I'll check it out tomorrow. Realised what the seal is I'm talking about there now 😂😂

I wouldn't mind a few ideas on this too tbh, think I may have a custom made one which incorporates the breather tank too

Well with the help of my friend Paul & my dad I finally got the 4efte out of the 4paw... Yet again This is going to be the last time! Whilst it's out the engine bay is going to be painted, abs gone, pas pump mounted out the way somewhere all ready for the forged engine For now I just began cleaning up some parts ready to refit to the completed engine Dirty Bolts Zinc Coated 5E Crank Here's where the real work begins, my dad went to town on the gearbox!! 😀 I think it's safe to say I've got the cleanest 4paw box & transfer box around The crank has been measured, tested and polished ready to go off to the engine builder
