Well the fun has now begun! I put it upon myself to get the conversion done running the td04 kit for the minute until i can save for the forged engine. As i was using my glanza as a donor i began by stripping out both engine and interior looms to swap over. Once I'd done that i began work on the 4paw... How it looked when i started Carpet and dash out! Dash out! Interior loom out Dash bar out Heater and A/C box out/ Removed the A/C condenser to get the pipes out of the bay Dad helping out, jet washing the carpet while its out Pulling back the sound deadening from the bulk head so i could properly sound proof! Got it in as much as i could Several hours later! Woops Cleaned heater box Getting the turbo loom in Brace bar back in It doesnt look tidy but i can assure you thats as good as its going to get Finally the dash went back in Swapping over the fuel pumps More sounding deadening! Thats about as far as I've got up to atm. Im hoping to complete the interior tomorrow and then crack on with the engine swap

What backbox you going for now Russ? Thought the nur spec sounded pretty awesome

This could be of use to me as i work at Jaguar as a technician. What exactly is it you do, the programming of the modules etc or design the software to read & programme?

I've done a bit of research on them and there lemans seats, not sure if the 'confettis' is a certain type. I didnt think there from the early evos shorty as the pattern is slightly different and most of the ones I've seen are a lighter blue where as mine are black. Cheers buddy! Today they got the jet wash treatment and have come up amazing! Only a few minor defects which will get sorted eventually but I'm more than happy with them 😃

Picked myself up a bargain last night only about 20 mins away too which is great! Not sure exactly what there from but there in pretty good condition, I believed they was stored up for a few years so they'll need a good scrub up but the bolsters are intact and there's no rips to the fabric, just need to refit the top trim and get the fitted 😀 No real updates other than respraying the wiper arms, just continuing to save for the engine!

Them seats look awesome man! Was that the only work required to make them fit on there original rails?

Ah a long time coming then really! Afraid I can't help you there mate We'll catch up at the meet and see how your getting on with it. Should be the last time my glanza's seen before the 95 😊

I've got them in mine atm, as said before it's the rear mount which goes on the tunnel that is about an inch and a half further back on the paseo mounts. I made a simple bracket which the seat bolted to which used the original chassis mount. I can provide some pics for you tomorrow if you wish? It's quite discreet as it sits so close to the carpet you can't really notice it. I tried swapping the rails over but encountered problems with that hence why I took that route

Will you be in yours or your mrs russ? Quite odd that both your turbos have gone at the same time lol Did you get that hybrid one jay, on the breaking thread? I'd like to see how that performs against the standard one

I'd have a black ep91 forsale soon, I'm using it to build my ep95 so it wouldn't have either of the looms, no intercooler, fpr, skirts, boot lid, speedo cluster and a few other little bits. It may not be what your after but it would still have the running gear/chassis parts and most of the interior. Let me know if it interests you 😊
