Haha I'll keep my eyes open then, It's all in and running but it's lumpy in the low revs so I'm just waiting for a few things in the post so I can sort that out then it will be on the road ;-)

I heard about this last night! very sad news. RIP bud f&f won't be the same :-(

oil around my spark plugs witch I suspect is what's causing my missfire so I've ordered new gasket and seal kit from id-works and I'm getting the ignition kit from td so hopefully that should stop the engine running lumpy! Also my speedo has stopped working so I'll need to give that a look! The list keeps getting longer! Bloody thing! I still can't wait to drive it though :-D

I've finally got round to having a look over my car and I found oil on the thread on two of the spark plugs so I'm ordering new gasket set and I'm going to get the ignition kit from td I think that will solve the rough running I'll keep posted on the result :-)

Yeah bud it would be good to know the difference in set ups, what sort of power you running with the td04?

Looking good!! the manifold looks the nuts! How you finding that turbo set up are you boosting alright now? What's the spool like?

:-( lol I get where you're coming from and you're right everyone's taste is different! I've no longer got the silvia so I'm not really bothered what people think as it's just there opinion! not bitching ;-) the silvia was like that when I bought it I was going to colour code but it did grow on me! having said that the glanza will stay untouched apart from tidying up the paint work as I'd rather people thinking it's standard!

I'm not quite sure on the power figure with my set up bud, but I'd like 220-240bhp! It's been said the spool is slightly faster than td04 but it can't achieve as bigger power figure as the td04!

Quick question if the ignition timing is out would that make it run lumpy?

The turbo whistles quite loud as if there is a air leak from the intercooler pipes! I will be ruling that out tomorrow if that fails I'm going to unplug my lambda sensor and I'll have a look at the spark plug gaps making sure they are 0.8 I've read the dizzy can cause this problem as well not to sure how to check that! Anything I've missed or should be checked?

I spoke to the guy I bought it from and he said he never ran the wastegate to the turbo nibble witch explained everything, So I've connected it to the vacuum on the inlet manifold and it boosts :-) it's still spluttering and pops a little before it hits boost so I'm guessing that's down to a boost leak? I also have a air block could that cause the spluttering or effect the running of the car?

I see lol :-) I'll check it when I get home from work! I thought the same as you with regards to a boost leak it would basically have to be a large one to not have any boost but I'm going to be checking everything hopefully it's something simple
