good video dude, you can't always see or hear a boost leak and soapy water is the best way :-)

I'm sure there's a threat of people's screamer video's and I think there is a ct9 screamer video on it.

Looking good! If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost for the hot pipe to be made with the vacuum pipe? I need the exact same thing! -
Let's just say that I had a happy mot tester
-
It Passed with no problems thanks for all the information guys I really appreciate :-D
-
I missed that link somehow! after having a read im going to put my standard ecu back on I know its not going to make a massive difference but every little helps! I can try and argue about the engine change but ive got no proof of age for the new engine its a bit of a hit or miss.
-
It is lol :-D
-
Cheers dude ;-) hasn't really changed from the old one, I'm going to have to take a chance with it and hope mot guy can be persuaded to let it pass! It tomorrow so I'll let you know!
-
lol no probs, if you could find anything I could use that would be a help :-)
-
Got some new floor mats as mine are tatty! and some new front brake pads ebc reds
-
Im going to take a chance with it ive just realised that I can't use my old turbo and cat as ive cut and used the intercooler pipes for the new set up! :-( who's the person to speak to about making an adapter for the k24 so I can use my ct9 cat?
-
Thanks a lot bud you may have saved the day with that helpful bit of information ;-)
-
No I can't prove it's older! I'll see if I can give the mot guy a back hander otherwise I'll just have to fit my old turbo and cat! Thanks for clarifying that for me :-)
-
It's 96!
-
I know this has been covered a few times and after I've had a read of other posts it's still not clear to me how I can get around the emissions test, I've changed my engine and turbo since the last mot it's a sard k24 turbo with decat pipe external wastegate! I've read I can have a pre-cat emissions test because it's imported and was never made for the UK market the only one that I know of that was maid for the UK is the starlet gt mk1 witch is pre-cat I just want to know where I stand and is there any tricks or tips for passing emissions? I've still got the old turbo set up but don't want to
-
I love rare imports I've honestly never seen one of these before! What a lovely looking motor Glws bud
-
I got your pm pal, I've sent you some photos of the measurements to clarify works out a bit less than what I originally said! :-)
-
I'll double check the measurements, you might get away with the 0.1m! I'll drop you a pm ad.

Holy smoke batman! If he gets the asking price for that I'm selling mine for 10k! it's worrying really, if he thinks that's worth that much what does he consider a well built engine! -
it's from decat back it was on my glanza v! you can arrange collection I'm off every Wednesday if you want
-
£25 collected if you want it!
-
I've got a apexi n1 exhaust system back box could do with welding where the pipe joins the box! Ep91!
-
If you don't mind me asking how much can you get the manifold maid for? I currently have the same one as the one in the picture!
-
I've had a go at getting rid of the air lock and all seems fine and I've cleaned my intake manifold with some carb spray witch has seemed to have stopped the roughness on pickup, I'm thinking the cutting out is something to do with fuel pressure as I've read that someone else with a similar problem was running low fuel pressure at low rpm! I'm going to get a regulator and see if that sorts it out. fingers crossed
