  1. True for the turbo it's self, it depends on how you do it though the cheapest way would be to buy a converter for your ct9 manifold to fit the td04!
  2. sard is the one I have! audi s2 is another one witch runs a k24 and blitz also do a k24!
  3. go k24 there one in the for sale section, as there the best of both they don't have the potential power figures as a td04 but they spool faster and give more power then a ct9 hybrid I'll be posting my power results once it's been on the dyno
  4. it seems a shame to sell your pride and joys but at least you know they are in good hands, could you post some pictures of the collection as I've never had the pleasure of seeing them all? Good luck with the sales. Mike
  5. Current update on my V I had some bad news, as some of you may know I'd been burning oil witch I originally thought was down to stem seals, witch is not the case as ive found out it's worn cylinders it's currently at TD having a rebuild with some 75mm pistons put in! I'll be selling my 74.5mm ross racing pistons if anyone is interested pm me as they are fine but just not in my current block. I'm having the new build run in on the dyno and hopefully I have it back spanking new in three weeks until then I need to get some pennies saved I'll be putting a few pits in the for sale section may even
  6. I'm interested to know what else your selling out of your collection lovely looking motor
  7. well mine is higher spec and I've timed mine at 10° advanced with no problems!
  8. I noticed the same thing pmsl, fecking bunch of predators lol
  9. It makes no difference with the mods you've got it's all to do with the timing of the spark when the pistons reaches the top of the cylinders!
  10. lol that's no worries fella, I'll be back in 15 been a long day though im looking forward to getting mine back
  11. had a nose around your car very smart ;) I was talking to nick when you pulled up I had my bonnet up on my black v I was going to have a chat but you where in and out and missed ya!
  12. valve stem seals bud! I'll be there around 10-11 hopefully
  13. If getting it fixed isn't going to cost you anything if it's under warranty ect I'd take it to be fixed then sell/break it else you've spent all that money for a engine witch has only given you 2k before dieing I'd definitely be getting that sorted 1st plus it will be worth more running! I feel for you dude hard situation.
  14. Checked the Cv joints? Track end rods ect?
  15. I have a soft spot for integra's you have the best model imo looks mint
  16. It's been a while since I've looked at the progress you've made, That flocked dash is unreal if you don't mind me asking what did it cost to have it done and who did it? Pm me if you don't want to post it up! How long before she's on the road fella?
  17. you certainly know you stuff mate, again thanks for the info and reassurance I know who to contact with anything engine related in the future
  18. I have been losing a little oil yeh! But when I ran it up to temp it seems to be fine with no loss of oil! The problem was until I decided to take for a good long drive I hadn't been driving it far as I was worried about causing damage ect but I guess now I know it's fine I'll be driving it more distance.
  19. I have a oil temp gauge it gets to 50-55° full temp I'd say is 70° with you saying that with regards to the pistons would that be the reason for burning a little oil? I'll save some money for a second car and till then warm mine to max temp, thanks for the advice and information adam
  20. ross racing 74.5! I'm going to let it sit until its up to temperature the only thing is I start at 6:30 so I'm going to go up the road a sit in a country lane and let it warm up else the neighbours won't be pleased or get a cheap car for work!
  21. im using 5w30 full synthetic, my thoughts exactly with maybe going through the system when it's cold, although i'm still learning so it's good to get others views as I can be paranoid into thinking the worst! I'm going to change the oil to 10w40 and go from there thanks for the reassurance
