  1. Hey guys bit of an hupdate! Last weekend we got Jess's car a little lower to the ground! Spent Friday night with a couple friends in my friends garage. All went well only thing noticing was I need to replace one of the front shocks in future as i've noticed it's weeping but we'll get that sorted! It feels better I wasn't sure because the TTE springs apparently are a 20mm drop so wether the 40mm springs were going to drop a further 20mm than it already was or go 40mm over the TTE I think from the looks of it it's gone 20mm lower which tbh I think suits it well and keeps it practical enough for
  2. Theres a Renault badge?? Bummer about the stud man! Will you just replace like for like or use it as an opportunity for longer studs??
  3. Looks a lovely base car to work with, the new wheels will look awesome!
  4. I would if mine were capable of getting £3K!
  5. Arrrr man this is lush!!!! As soon as I got my 4G I really wanted an 3G lol! This is beautiful! Wanna EC lol??
  6. Yer the original springs im guessing Jess will let go, once we've swapped them over ill drop you a PM bud
  7. Last night I ordered up some 40mm lowering springs to get it down a little more tried one of the enkeis on yhe back to see how they fit They look awesome! Arch lips might need a roll once its lowered mind! Also had to order some new nuts in order for the center covers to fit on. Afterwards we took him for a quick clean as you can see it was filthy when trying the wheel on! Much better! Also while the rear wheels were off we painted the red "Powrrdrumz" black so they didnt stand out lol! Also fitted a fresh set of spark plugs
  8. Absolutely stunning work mate! The Cupra splitters work so well on the NA bumpers! I'm going to get one for Jess's black SR
  9. What a cool project dude defo like what youve done with this!
  10. More than likely, these defo arnt Rotas theyre Enkeis because theyre stamped would just be nice to know what model of Enkeis
  11. This is brilliant! I absolutely love what you've done with the modified front bumper! Wouldn't mind taking that approach with Jess's SR rather than going full blown Glanza which I don't want to do. The turbo conversions great too! Deans a legend! Nice to know the FE can handle boost without major surgery! Love this car dude!
  12. The amount of ranting I've heard about this topic. It is sh*t tbf! They say it's to save dead weight but in all fairness a space saver isn't much heavier than the compressor they supply!
  13. Arrrr right, the story I got about the wheels is the guy I who I bought em from his mate of a mate had em imported and they sent them packed in the boot of a skyline lol wether thats true or not I dont know just wanna find out what model they are lol. I really want them on my EF Civic lol!
  14. No way lol well ain't that a small world! Was he the one who imported them by any chance?
  15. Thanks dude. Wheels are picked up and love em! I'm well jealous of em lol They're Enkeis (Any ideas on what model they are? 15x6.5 et32 I think. I THINK they're 3pc splits but unsure! A polish up and some nice Enkei center logos and they'll be bang on
  16. Should be collecting new wheels for the SR tonight
  17. Yer Nitros are high maintenance, no good for drifting anyhow biggest maintenance on an electric I'd say is keeping the batteries in good condition and charging correctly
  18. MST's are the "in" RC drift car ATM but they're not cheap to say the least. I used to own a Tamiya TT01 I drifted and it was a really cool car and not as expensive as the likes of the MsT's there are other cheaper options too such as HPI E10, Sprint 2 Maverick Strada. Have a look on www.radshaperc.com Here was my TT01
  19. Hey guys as per title really, looking for a good condition manual driver side wing mirror for an NA EP91 as close to Wolverhampton as possible or posted
  20. Hi guys! Im after some lowering springs for Jess' s SR. Its on the original TTE springs atm I was looking for something around 40mm what we got peeps??
  21. I usually hate those corollas but those G6R's have grown on me! Shame about the Starlet but the rolla looks great!
  22. This is the method I used. If you can get your hands on a caramel wheel and have the patience to not burn your paint with it then i'd defo go with that method. the rub strips come off easy enough, the time consuming part is removing the foam/glue afterwards! Defo worthit though!
