  3. Hello lads, Does anyone know how to get the plastic trim off on the door, passenger side, (the bit where looking at the car) says GT Turbo on the lower part of the door, mine has bent out in one place but can't see how they come off. Thanks Pat
  4. They should of sorted that when it was mapped and on the rollers, or you could get a wideband fitted for peace of mind
  5. Personally wouldn't buy a turbo off eBay good sellers on here with fantastic feedback will no doubt have a good ct9 turbo for sale, do you have any other mods of the car?

Could well be mate or check the intercooler pipes for oil then it will be your turbo seals, I once took the pipes off what join to the intercooler at the bottom and there was a puddle of oil in there
  13. That's fantastic mate good to hear :-)
  14. Yeah good for you mate going forge something positive has come out of it, probably the quickest way to blow money though, but doing research your be surprised how many people have actually done it.
  15. Also made that rookie mistake aswell K2NXY inlet pipes on wrong way round,, you start the car up and think awwww yes there we go only for it to conk out, unit I took the plugs out and turned it over and coolant came straight out, it's a bad bad feeling, so stripped the lot and rebuilt it from scratch again, with the help of my mate who owns a jap only garage.
  16. What boost are you set to mate on your actuator and what does boost gauge say?
  17. Thanks Adam will have to have a look, I have always used 97 since my rebuild, but if 95's fine then so be it
  18. Thanks Ollie mate am with you now
  19. Can I just ask aswell, I was told by many people always run 97 petrol or 99 on these engines, as 95 isn't good for it, I know this isn't to do with the dyno but just saw he put 95, or am I missing something here?
  20. Thanks mate to be fair car doesn't idle so high now on first start up I'm quite liking it
  21. Bump anyone know for sure please started car up before work today wasn't idling as high everything seems ok still idling the same when warm idle etc
  22. Just like that eh mate if it has benefits might be worth ago thanks mate, by for now need to know if the wires ok not connected
  23. Hey Ollie yeah heard people doing this, what did you do with the sensor? (Just tuck it away) plus the hole in the side of the inlet? And the pipe bit what goes into the bottom of the icv?
  24. Hello gang just need alittle advice please, Was under the bonnet today changing air filter and as you do while your there checking hoses plugs and sensors, I put my hand on the icv sensor only for one of the wires to come out (due to age must be being brittle as redone other sensor wires that pop out the hole). Obviously I will get it redone ASAP and connect the wire back up, but my question is will the car be ok to run like that for the next few days, have been out in it since and car just runs normal like it should not even high idle, thanks pat
  25. Brought a manifold then a downpipe off Davies700 fantastic bloke, kept in contact, sent me the tracking numbers, and made sure I was always in the know, without a doubt I would buy off him again and would highly recommend him. Thanks once again mate Pat
