First things first mate what is the boost gauge showing on full boost as noticed you have a hks actuator on and what is the fuel pressure reg set to when car up to temp
-
That's good mate yeah is hard finding these little fiddly parts, but taking the original one if you can to a hardware store a lot of them will have something similar but will still do a good job
-
Hey good point ryan mate thankyou why didn't I think of that, but then again they all come in different sizes too
-
Has the passenger side got the same one mate? If so take that off and go into a nut and bolt kind of shop and see if they have one its worth a try
-
Had a conversation going yesterday about where to sort it, but for future reference does anyone know the actual size in mm or cm etc what circlip/e clips size everyone needs for there actuator or in fact the best way to measure them. Thankyou Pat

I find my walbro one whines most when turned off ignition and lefted on the turbo timer.

JDM-EP GROUP BUY - Quick Release Steering Wheel Hub Adaptor
patman replied to Socks's topic in Group Buys
This maybe a stupid question but how do these actually fit on the boss as I have a much thicker quick release on at the moment (so could do with a nice slim one) but the quick release I have on has two parts to it, one part which actually screws to the boss, and the thicker bit which then clicks onto that hope this makes sense -
Yes is an easy fix if it's just a case of swapping them over (socks on here may have a spare one for sale) and of course your lose abit of water/antifreeze, so top it back up afterwards 👍🏻
-
I see your point now mate though taking mani off with turbo so much easier when all off
-
That would be the one at the back eh Colin mate haha right pain
-
there's 4 on the manifold to turbo, 4 on the turbo to decat/cat but first I would get underneath the car and take the return pipe of first with the oil feed bolt think it is, get underneath your see it Also the water lines going to turbo too
-
Another starlet brought and another bottom end gone straight away, this happens to much these days and it's bloody annoying to see, good luck whatever you do mate
-
Please do explain mate how it's backwards
-
That's ok Dave mate,do keep checking on here though as a few of them do come up, so there's always people selling them :-)
-
Hey John I know you wasn't mate and sorry if it came across wrong wasn't typing my last comment with an angry face or anything haha it's all cool, I know what your saying mate and your right, I suppose I'm just the type of person where, the imported starlets are kph from factory so I just leave them like that, (my choice, I know lots put the converter in) and all I do is take the speedo kph out and put the mph face in :-)
-
Yes of course it will but with the speedo face on it will then read in mph, mine still clocks up in kph but have the mph face on, it's each to there own of course but I would rather leave it clocking up in kph then having mix of kph and mph then I know exactly how much it's done
-
You can always just buy the cluster speedo face on eBay mate for a tenner and take out the kph speedo face and put in the mph face you get of eBay

Got a pipercross one on at the minute it's a foam one it does do the job, but about a month ago it was raining hard, and being behind the grill, it got wet and sucked itself back through the pipe, haha Noticed straight away and pulled it back out and it's ok so far but your right they are crap my other one split where the jubilee clip was so had to do a temp fix
