Yep I have the same on my GT will idle perfect but it's only when I do up both door windows together the idle will drop alittle then go back up to normal

People still sell them on here good used and working for about a tenner

I would first do what I did mate get the engine up to temp Rev the engine from the throttle cable on inlet of course it will do it then take the icv plug out then Rev it again and see if it drops straight back let us all know what happens

just noticed lately when going over small or uneven road surfaces the car does scrap on the tyres please could someone tell me if this would be the springs or the shocks monies tight at the minute after doing the engine rebuild and changing a few bits so what's the cheapest but still good springs or shocks out there for an ep82 gt turbo thankyou Pat. The car is definitely lowered I would say 40mm springs

Yes mate it will definitely need one and if it didn't I would still get it checked to be on the safe side for a polish

Mines set to 14 psi min that's if you get a psi gauge

Thanks very much lads I did think the icv rota mate, as it must be only a slight issue, that's the 3rd one now brought second hand that's buggered. Thanks for the reply though

As per usual maybe I'm just to anal as they call it with my car, doesn't matter what speed I'm going when I come to a stop, straight away the car will idle at 1200rpm then after about 10 seconds drop back down to the idle it should be at, started happening tonight but done it everytime I stopped at traffic lights etc, anyone had this before on there car please?

I am using 5w 40 fully syn oil, on start up mines around 60/70 psi, warmed up idle sits at 20psi at WOT mines up the 60's psi something like that what readings you getting mate
