Just need a little advice please, after changing my oil from running in to normal oil today on the way home, I was doing around 75-80mph on the dual carriage way for about 5/6 miles, when I came off I noticed my oil temp gauge (prosport) was sitting at 110 degrees, I'm still running standard boost 0.6 bar and I used Fuchs Titan supersyn 5w 40 fully synth, of course if I back off the throttle the oil temp goes down abit, but to me this is alittle too high any feedback please lads would be greatly appreciated. It was also this high when I was using millers running in oil aswell Thanks Pat

I saw this on Facebook tonight never seen something like that before needles just bouncing around like that while driving, couldn't hear if the car is revving when the needle goes up, only time I had something like this on my starlet was when I started it up and the needle was bouncing up and down on idle, I forgot to put the hose back on from the inlet to the pcv valve

Have spoke to a few of you before about this and there has been a post but nothing has ever came of it, would be great (now summers almost here) to get a meet up for local starlets in the sussex area, (others are welcome if they want to travel of course) so I was thinking Sunday 19th July with a venue/car park. Let's get some names down for this. 1. Patman

just after alittle advice please for those who have rebulit there engines and when changed to normal oil, am on the verge of changing my running in oil to normal oil (just done over a 1000 miles on mine) when changing over oils do you have to take the sump off, and recheck the big and main bearings with a torque wrench to see if there ok? I have used a magnetic sump plug all the way through and on my last change there was a tiny tiny bit of metal on there, hardly nothing, so is it worth looking in the sump and clean it out? Just wondering what others done when changing over. Thankyou Pat

That's what everyone else does mate yes

As far as I know or what I see everyone else does is one pipe to the pcv valve and one pipe to the breather on top of the rocker cover

Ok mate
