Pretty easy to do mate turbo to downpipe nuts off air filter pipe off, oil return pipe off, and oil banjo bolt off, then turbo to manifold nuts off ones at the back can be a pain but be patient don't think I have forgotten anything else
Absolutely gutted for you Mikey mate, once my car was run in I was gonna pop up to see you always had an interest in your car as you know as love the unique stuff you have done to it
Basically behind the rocker cover and in front of fuel rail you should have a long black rectangle plastic cover it unclips and in there you will have the injector loom wires and that's where the knock sensor wire should be, it should be a thick blue wire mate
Yeah I agree mate chin up you found the problem fast I know it's a new belt as you say but that would of been the least of your worries mate if that belt had snapped and you know it aswell thank god you found the issue quick
Wouldn't even worry about it mate, I got friends with Scoobys and belong to a local just jap club, no one cares what people drive it's about taking part and being the person you are 👍
Bhex do not drive the car till it gets sorted, yes it could be the swtich but this happened to me once upon a time on idle the oil light was flickering, ignored it for a few weeks, bye bye engine time for a rebuilt so had my engine rebuilt from scratch Took of the sump and to cut a story short bearings/shells were fooked
having to put my standard actuator back on for a while, but does anyone know about where the vacuum pipes go, On the standard actuator there are 2 ports I know one of them goes to the turbo but does anyone know where the other one goes to? As I haven't anywhere that it can go too. Thanks lads Pat
