Thinking back now Mikey it has to be wrong, I had one of them cheap ebay boost gauges on at the time you know the ones which the needles bounce all over the place and do what they like, whereas he read 0.7 bar on the gauge when in fact it was more like 1 bar or even over as needless to say the turbo went bang about a month after and the engine didn't last much longer after reading your post mate is absolutely fantastic info as you said setting the FPR at 2.4 bar is not enough for 1 bar of boost to me it's all making sense now

Well 2 things mate 1) the fcd was already on there when I brought it but was originally set to 12 And 2) something I still don't get as can't be right when I was at the dyno bearing in mind I do have supporting mods, fuel pump etc but standard ecu and ct9 my printout was 195.7 BHP which to this day I don't think it's right I did question the fcd aswell and his reply was yes the fcd is safe etc

Hahahaha you two are funny true though, I'm still siding to the f-con I don't want big power, just a nice safe engine which won't go bang, so if Alex does sell his emb for the price which seems good do I go for it or hold on till I find a f-con, just realised what Colin wrote 800 bloody quid that's a bit to much eh mate that must be brand new I take it
  4. This is very interesting mate good info, on mine (well as you know it been run in at mo) but before rebuild it went on dyno running 2.4 on sard fpr set to 0.7 bar on the actuator set to 8 on the FCD had the wideband on, as was being dyno'd and came back spot on does that sound good to you

Thankyou Colin mate I will change it then as its blanked off at the moment, I wanted to start running abit of boost now as on 1168km running it in, still on millers running in oil, I did notice there still isn't boost at 4k revs (doing what we talked about even though should be on 5k revs by now)

Hello mate just put my standard actuator back on got the hose going from the turbo to 1 port on the actuator and the other port on the actuator has been blanked off so I was told, I know you said leave it to vent to the atmosphere but are you 100% sure on this as I thought if you lefted it free it would cause a boost leak?

Yeah I don't wanna be spending silly money when I'm not going to forge it, and to be honest Gainzy mate not worried about the speed cut either, there is a person on facebook called Alex Bennett if anyone knows him just about to break a gt advance with a emb full set up, on a ct9 I did ask if he was on here and he said yes, (as I don't buy anything of facebook as so many people are being ripped off) £300 quid would be the top end of my budget Colin mate I presume even though it's nissan it wil still be ok in mine?

I have been searching mate about in the last hour for them, seems they are hard to come by and hard to get the map sensor, but I want one and have cash waiting, now it's a case of where to look for the whole kit mate including the gcc your advice is great mate as always I'm happy with going for this its just a case of now where to find it all

Thankyou for the advice guys really appreciate it, I have searched on here but doesn't seem to be alot of advice about the emb, but what Colin has just said has me intrigued, I don't ever plan on forging my GT to be fair it's just too much money I'm happy how it is just standed internals but if a pfc fcon is good enough then I am open to it, I have seen a few around and they seem to be cheaper then an emb I am happy to hunt for one, so Colin my dear friend haha what advice would you give on these Fcons, buy it fit it then? Well how does it work effect the engine etc

Hello everyone looking to go to the next stage after my starlet is run in after a full engine rebuild, and on the look out for an emanage blue complete set up, I just wanted to know what the going rate is for a good second hand emanage blue ecu, with everything with it, and how much it will cost to change the map from the pervious owners car to my car, as it stands I have a walbro fuel pump, fmic, sard fpr aftermarket mani and exhaust, magnecor leads, ct9 turbo would I have to change injectors from standard to 370? just want to get abit of advice and know what figures (money) I am looking at

  23. Ben is that ECU all a straight fit and everything there I would need to go on my ep82 as if I wouldn't need anything else just a map tweak to suit my car
