its not that hard to do. just make sure you have some decent extenders for your ratchet...and a proper lamba sensor tool will make it alot easier...or just chop the side out of a 22mm socket
-
is this gonna be a diy job ?! as if your going to saw someone to do it it's not going to be cheap. I didn't get mine done properly in the end due to the time it takes but mainly it isn't worth spending 1k on a paint job for a car that's only just worth that. I could turbo the sr for that price the following year which imo is a lot better. if you can afford it though go gunmetal like the others have said

thats why im not wasting money on mine...a safc that costs all of about 80 quid...and some throttle bodies that will cost about the same...
-
well you cant tell until you get the fuelling checked properly on an rr/ with a wideband....what have you actually done to the car which will make it need more fuel? if it is running lean anyway...either a safc or an adjustable FPR will be able to sort it out...would bother with those injectors

do 7.30 thats the usual time i reckon.
-
cheers mate...hopefully get done to this BW meet in it
-
dont think they are 55mm thats why..fe's are around 45mm...and an FTE one is about 50mm i think...ive got one hanging around...ill have to measure it when i have a chance
-
ya looks like a BC Spec2...upload the vid on photobucket/youtube/streetfire.net etc..
-
aye thats what im thinking...when i put it on that JAM rear in real life it looks mean as f**k
-
nice one I may try and get the bodywork basics done and it sprayed up then get si to drive it down to there bluewater meets in dec. (i really need to crack on passing my driving test )
-
all that useless metal inside...also you could chop out the front cross member of the chassis which weighs a ton and put in a chromoly tube which is stronger and lighter
-
yup another one is joining the club...we will have the whole matt black collection going on fisys 82, my 91 yeah gonna mesh it..there was bloody "chickunz" wire in the gap before so need to get some proper stuff...will also obviously spray the metal behind the bumper on the rear end/chassis so it dont look gash.
-
theres no need for them...they are blatently smaller than the standard ones...so they have to run more fuel pressure...there is no gain in having them..as the standard ones setup properly will still not be anywhere near their max duty cycle.
-
yea but i cant be bothered to wait 3 months for the bodyshop now...and spend 1k on a paint job (for a car that aint worth all that much anyway) when i can turbo it for that cost next year...i can paint the whole thing in a day anyway
-
