RobSR replied to rinseep82's topic in Cars For Sale
Im viewing a black one on sunday as its ideally the colour i want. If its a shed ill be interested in this one. Will drop you a message then if its still available. -
Potentially interested, looking at another black v on sunday, pm me or post some more photos here please.
-
Yea i know the car wasn't Tims; I think they guys user name is Tmdep82mos or something like that.
-
Nice stuff, what power is your car running? Who was in the GT in front of you in the first vid ? He was taking errrr..interesting lines!
-
Front or Back? Either way, loads of people run both, they are both easy to fit, and the rear one is probably the best thing you can buy for a starlet.
-
Dont change your injectors. Aim for 11.8 @ WOT. 10's is unnecessary imo. Safe, but not needed.
-
I've managed to swirl mine up tonight. See you tomorrow. Be good to catch up with some old faces.

Open to offers. Try your luck even if you think it's a daft offer. Just want the bits gone now to fund something new -
The car used to look alright shame its gone that way. Its quite an old boy that owns it tho, fensport did all the work for him. Does look gash now tho mind
-
They will fit yes.. but like said, sure you'll need something that big?
-
Yea if you want to run a decent height. The 15x8 ET20 pokes on the back quite a bit on my '91
-
Ive got some 8's ET20 and they aint going on the back without quite abit of work so no hope!
-
Nah it looked awful with the TTE spoiler lol! Yea i should be at JAE mate, ill be on my clubs stand tho.
-
If its stinking of fuel get it checked/sorted quickly. Don't be wanting bore wash / the fuel in the oil eating away at your bearings.
-
Loads of people had problems with them when they were first released. Down to the fact they are just poop and terribly made.
-
What TRD and Cusco diffs did you have? 99% sure a lot of the Cusco and TRD and Kaaz ones are made by the same company. Which i can't remember off the top of my head. They all had very similar markings on. Also make sure you set the Torque slip correctly in clutch type diffs, thats something more than half the people who own them don't do also.
-
None of them I've ever driven have, ill give it a heave tomorrow and see what happens lol.

Engine gone, WEPR Manifold under offer. Clutch / Rad still available. -
Haven't updated this for a while, have done a little bit of work on her. Firstly ive fitted new front lower arms, new ball joints, and new drop links aswell as finally getting the rear end finished and the bumper sprayed up. So 98 spec glanza lights, glanza spoiler and numberplate surround, aswell as rear bumper. I added the bits onto the boot, not brought a new one, so it was fun wiring everything up I did buy some bits to boost her, and I've still got my WEPR manifold and Tial gate, but i don't think i can be bothered with it now. Going to buy an S1/S3 next year. Will keep this as a ru

Me ha! We all know starlet handbrakes don't really work tho...
-
Still makes me laugh how people say clutch type diffs make a terrible noise. They only do if you a) don't run them in, or use the wrong friction oil. Id only ever run a clutch plate diff imo. Don't like helicals.
